Why quality of Honda Bikes are coming down ??? Purchased Honda Unicorn a year back & within 1 year the battery has drained. I had to take it to service centre for a recharge & they demanded money for recharging the battery. When you are selling your products at premium price why is quality of your products coming down. Even the indicator button is too hard to push & difficult to use.. At many places you have used iron instead of alloy & the bike gets rusted very easily. I couldnt believe that quality of your products have now come equivalent to low priced bikes. Rather I would have purchased a cheaper one rather spending too much on your bikes. 3 Mar, 2022: Had to replace speedometer wire within 1 year of purchase. This is condition of honda bikes 7 Mar, 2022: Again within one month of recharge my unicorn battery is down. Honda is selling poor quality bikes nowadays.

Starting problem in BS6. Every time you start it goes on auto choking for one minute. Sometimes more than a min. Even when you are very urgent you cannot start driving your unicorn BS6. So test engine cool downed vehicles so u can understand exactly what the issue is. think twice before you buy it.

I have unicorn bs 6 160 model purchased in March 2021. Problems that I am facing with bs6 unicorn 160 I have completed almost 15000kms in my unicorn bs6 160 2021 model after 2nd service my bike started to give problems. 1. From the day one of purchase I am face starting problem, once started ( like automatic choke) engine will raise noise automatically gets heat then only engine noise will reduce it will take 1 minute to heat up, this happens everytime after 1 hour break if I start again i need to wait for 1 minute to heat and especially in winter it will take more than 2 minute, for 25 minutes break. In service center they say it is bs 6 model so it will be like this only. 2. For every 2500 kms it gives problem in break shoe. Either front or back any one break will give problems. 3. There is Gear shifting problem after 3rd service. Before that gear shifted softly now it is hard to bring from 2 nd to 1st gear or many times it goes neutral. 4.bike wobble problem was there from starting but not all the time, if I start vehicle 10 times a day 5 times I face this jerk issue for nearly10 seconds. In service center they say this is bs6 model it will be there. 5. Issue with kicker (daily morning I use kicker) which feels uncomfortable, many times not starting in first kick need to kick few times. 6. Very very poor headlight illumination after finishing free service we need to change to led for better illumination. In service center they request to change to led. Only one best part is engine smoothness, no noise even after 14000 kms.

Honda bs6(160) & bs4(150) difference irukku 150 is smoother than 160, 150 pickup is higher than 160, 150 vibration is lower than 160, 160 Mileage is higher than 150. 160 is grip smooth engine, 150 is light smooth engine. Iam bs6 unicorn (1.5years) user, decent bike.ride in 50kmph speed got a amazing mileage results. I ride 50kmph(strech) speed from Chennai to tirupati mileage 70.4 kmpl 👌. compelsary mileage is not below 50kmpl in bs6 unicorn engine.
