Just bought one, (euro 5) primarily to carry on the back of my motorhome, im hoping the new engine will improve as it loosens up, does about 50 at full tilt, I was expecting 60 downhill with the wind behind me. Looking to buy a screen, as the wind comes up like clockwork off the sea at 11am every day, not sure which one to get. Maybe a Malossi or Pollini variator change will help later. I live in the countryside in Murcia southern spain so it's quite hilly in the mountains around here. But, enjoying it so far, easy to flick around! Was wondering if the euro 4 model was a bit quicker?

I have noticed the same when I bought mine when it was warmer weather here in the UK. Now it has covered 1,600 miles, it is cold and the engine seems to perform better in cold weather, it reaches 60mph speedo reedings. I wouldn't want to ride it going into the wind, slight incline on a motorway, 45-50mph flat out. Country roads are a pleasure as it keeps up with most vehicles.

May I ask how you carry it on your motorhome, do you have a scooter trailer? if so which type would you recommend. Many THANKS

@@gregorypepper8674 Its like a drawer that you pull out rated to 150kgs it has a ramp that clips onto one side to run the scooter up onto it. it's braced by aluminium arms attached to the back wall of the motorhome. It has lights and a number plate

Does this have the Euro5 engine with the catalytic converter in the exhaust? I have now covered 1,200 miles, its speed has increased to 50mph (55 on the clock) and behind lorries up to 65 on the clock. I must say your Vision appears to go very well. In your opinion, does the windshield affect the performance faster or slower?

It has improved top speed by about 5 mph

Is it legal to ride one of these on the motorway? I thought the law was 125cc and this bike is 108cc. I’m not trying to be a smartass. I would just like some clarity as I want to buy one. I’m originally from South Africa so not very knowledgable on the UK law about this.
@quwers2 жыл бұрын
Yes it's legal with a full licence. Rule 253 of the highway code explains. Must be over 50cc.

@@quwers perfect. I’ll have a read. Thank you.

On windy days this bike is a threat on duel carriage ways especially the a13

they say "it's not capable for motorway use" because they want to keep the big boy image with big balls and big engines...
@quentinbush2 жыл бұрын
Going uphill and into the wind it struggles to get past 45 but on the flat and with a tailwind it will reach 61/62 mph (speedo readings)
@Big1_2 жыл бұрын
Thats because they want you to buy the 125 Scoopy, Forza 150 and others. Vision reaches 110 kmh and can run 95 kmh with bad win and going little uphill.

It's perfectly capable and competent. If I was doing regular long journeys on quiet motorways I would choose something larger (like my 1200GS). But for occasional motorway use, especially where they are almost always congested (M25 round London) it is fine.

Just wrote one of these off. 40mph round a corner 🤣
