I'm soon going to buy a bike, maybe within these 15 days, I had visited TVS's showroom to take a test ride of the new 160 4v and unfortunately I couldn't get my hands on the 160 4v but I went to their service section and I just sat and started a vehicle that was kept for servicing and I was quite surprised! Since then I became a huge fan of that 160 4v motor... Yet I'm confused if I should buy the hornet 2.0 or not! What's your view on it?

@@aishadeeptamohapatra9088 See personally if you see : -In terms of Design Hornet 2.0 looks more premium with New Blue colour , golden USD forks which will highlight you in crowd whereas Apache's are more common. -For long term usage and Reliability Honda stands out. -Last is pricing now you see Honda is dearer than apache. So if you want Stand out design , golden USD forks , LED indicators which are same as CB1000r global variant , Blue colour with Honda's engine reliability you can go with Hornet 2.0. If you are price sensitive than only you consider Apache 160. But personally in apache that Grey part in side look spoils the overall look of Apache 160. Whereas if you are hardcore fan of apache go with 200 then

BS-6 Engine is Super refined, getting Mileage of 55 kmpl+ with Power petrol, Completed 4000 km in 7 months with 2 service. Single day Highest riding of 300 km done perfectly. And another one of 290 km with pillion. *seat could be more comfortable (use a cushion seat for 100 km plus ride)

I am riding x blade for approx 1 year did 2 servicing. Covered 8500 km. Pros: Mileage- 55 plus, Engine Smoothness good, Good turning radius, looks good, good instrument pannel. Cons:- Uncomfortable siting position Gives back pain even for 15 min ride in city off road anything. I need to travel 60km everyday through highway village way, offroads including. Everytime I ride I feel extreme back pain. 1st I thought may be its a medical problem seen a good Doc but after I haven taken rest without riding bike for 5 days my pain completely gone. But starts if I ride it even for a single day. I tried different positions even a figo air filled seat but same issue. I am of 5.6" height. Conclusion: If your health and body is not okay with anybike, other any feature is of no use. Don't buy very unsatisfied very bad sitting position, very bad suspension you will feel evey pot hole and not recommend for even regular 6 7 km ride. Save your money. I suggest before buying any bike ride it for 7 to 10 days of a friend or relative then make you decision. Thank you.

Just Bought it one month back. Dual disc. First service done after 600km. Matt grey. Dual disc. Front break is amazing. Rear break is how it should be. Super smooth engine. After 1st service and 5w30 oil from service center. Its amazing smooth. No sound at all.

There is no stability issue due to thin front tyre till we drive it below 80-85 kmph. But beyond that speed you may feel slight lack in confidence in stability. However at corners because of mono shock suspension and fat rear tyre we feel much confident.

These comments are about 1 year old. Perhaps a little late to ask. But now, in March 2022, im planning to buy a bike. Money is not an issue up to Rs 2.5 lakh. Not a fan of huge petrol drinkers like bullet and honda 350, which will both give around 35 kmpl after some time. Minimum shd be 50kmpl, ideally around 60. But mileage is not the only consideration. I want riding comfort for me and pillion, looks, safety as well. Otherwise sp 125 of honda was ideal. But is is too skinny and may not be good for long rides. Based on my internet research and my liking i have shortlisted few models (approx on road now in bracket - for highest available version)- unicorn (135000), xb (145), fz (140), cb 200x (180), hornet (170). It would be great help is owners of BS6 models / those who know real info pls tell which to buy. I didnt consider apache 160, for some reason, though i like it. I have a perception it is difficult to ride. By the way i notice that unicorn and xb has gear lever one sided. will it not be difficult to use when weareing good leather shoes - will shoe not get scratched in front. or am i thinking too much. Pls inform general information and ur view points. im mostly between xb and fzs. though ope to other models also

i purchased honda xblade single disk variant 2021 model matt blue yesterday for 1,43,000 on road bangalore including all accessories(Rs.1000 for engine leg guard, gripper, seat cover) and 3yr extended warranty (Rs. 1027). I too have done lot of research and if you need mileage over performance then blindly go for XBLADE, since power figures of this bike is bit less when compared to others and uk on long term yamaha FZ mileage will decrease gradually but honda is honda. I too initially had planned to buy sp125 but due to engine heating near right leg being felt a lot and skinny tyres i later shifted to xblade. Hornet mileage is less than xblade but looks are more muscular

Fzs is a little more sporty and offers less pillion comfort, but riding it is more fun and xblade offers better comfort but less fun to ride, so go with what your requirements are

Apache 1604v would be a good buy than this!...costs little less and has more power + it's more muscular...xblade dual disc on road costs as much as a xpulse 200!...whereas apache 1604v dual disc cost almost 10-12k cheaper on road for dual disc varient

Only issue with apache 4v 160 is its quality and engine vibration. My brother has changes its apache 160 silencer in just 1 year, display issue in 1 year, wiring harness, it is only good in power delivery. After all this issue he sold his bike and buy hornet 160. TVS also need to improve its quality in apache 160 4v for this they can increase price.
