Honduran Sawmill Pt 2 of 2 Amazing accuracy using only his hands.

Part 2...With machinery limited, and pine trees in abundance, the Honduran worker skills amaze us at what they can do with limited tooling. be sure to watch Pt 1 of this video set. After the "cut" I personally took the rough lumber to a milling machine, and was amazed at the accuracy and consistency of his craft. We saw him cut 1x12", 2x4's and what ever was needed. All with amazing tolerances and precision. The dying pine trees that surround the Pane Honduras area, provide "unlimited" lumber resources for new construction and the economy. But processing that lumber is where this craft takes over.

Awesome skills. I've seen video of people in Indonesia cutting the exact same way. What part of Honduras? I lived in Siquatepeque, Talanga and Zambrano. I would imagine its in the Juticalpa area.

Biggest thing I see from this gentleman is that he has patience. I've seen other videos where the person trying to do the same thing trying to force that chainsaw! Notice he's taking Small (bites) and and bring that saw back and forth, back and forth. And of course he obviously has the experience. Looks like he's been doing this along time. Hell of a good job! 👍😊

Hold the saw horizontal, sight down the bar to that notch in the end like a rifle barrel - lots of muscle and concentration. Excellent job, with no extra fuel consumed to move the lumber around, no tearing up of the ground cover and leaving of all 'organic waste at site this equals out for a bit of lost log due kerf width.

Imagine the kickback tho... If the bar tip dug a little too deep when pushing the saw 😂 or if he swayed a little further left or right. The chain would've also cut flesh and bone that day. If only there was a fuckin huge ass handle to prevent that..
