Great job on your builds! I feel that I sort of closely relate! I've been checking your channel out! I am a Nissan enthusiast and a master tech for a dealer near me. I recently bought my first Honda and an EK Hatch at that! I Went to super lap battle at circuit of the Americas recently and came back and bought the Honda two days later lol. I've got a pretty fun R33 project I've had a while but am looking forward to entering the Honda Game. Thanks for the bomb content dude!

ASE Master Tech here too! That's awesome to hear you were so easily convinced to get a Honda after SLB lol. I'm guessing you're from the Austin area?

Sick relatable channel!!!! Which master cylinder did you went with(dc2r)??
@bvspeed2 жыл бұрын
I'm usually pretty on top of comments, but somehow I missed this! I went with the recommended master cylinder from Honed, which is the 7/8" from the 6th gen Civic.

Do you really need to make new hole on pedal or just honed brake booster delete is fine
@bvspeed Жыл бұрын
The hole is requirement in order to give you more leverage.

whats the point of the booster delete?
@bvspeed3 жыл бұрын
Linear application of braking force! The lighter you’re on the brakes, the lighter the brakes will apply. If you want lots of braking, then you press down hard. Very linear in comparison to a boosted setup where modulation of the brake pedal can be a bit difficult because the booster can assist a little too much, not giving you all the control.

Cant get the caliper over the pads or the pads into the bracket? What rotor are you using?
@native_built96633 жыл бұрын
@@bvspeed my specific parts consist of, integra caliper (own rsx aswell) rsx caliper bracket, ep3 rotor and ep3 pads, tried to remove shims but caliper dont open enough. Rotor 10mm thick out the box Caliper over pads.

Interesting. It was a tight fit for me, but I was able to get them on. I suppose I’d just double check that you’re getting the piston turned all the way in.
