i have a question, I am a student and i play the flute. Sometimes the foot joint get stuck and i have tried a lot of ways to fix this. Is it just that newer piece pieces tighter?

Not at all, I play on a Sankyo Artist Model. I'm not sure if it still exists. My headjoints is not from the same brand ( I changed it ) for a David Wimberley headjoint.
