Miss A came after the huge success of Wonder Girls and JYPE was still unsure on how to market Girl Groups back then as they mostly focus on Boy Groups. Miss A was a (pardon the pun) Miss and Hit for JYP as they were extremely successful for a couple of years but focused on one member in particular (Suzy) neglecting the other 3. One of the reasons JYP was strict in giving TWICE Solo careers during their early years to avoid the "Suzy Bae" thing from happening again. I think having a good solid 7 years under TWICE's belt is a perfect enough time for them to have Solo gigs, starting this year with Nayeon.

Yeah, it was pretty bad near the end of the group's run. "Suzy and Friends" I think was the nickname.😭 Even the members weren't getting along, it was pretty noticeable in the behind-the-scenes stuff during their final comeback. The other thing that came from this was the division system that JYPE has now, where they have a dedicated team for each of the groups, essentially sub-labels.

Sometimes, we didn't know that it can turn to opportunities so for me, suzy really knows how to use opportunities. Even though she cried a lot and didn't want to starred in dream high, jyp pushed her and i think it opened the path for her career. Dream high was made because rain become a huge star and well known in asia after his drama full house. As for g.soul we don't know what gonna happened if he accepted the ksh dream high role.
