As a Jaguar fan, I found the "no one cares" bit way funnier than I'd like to admit, The cherry on top however, was the bit about all the hands both brands have changed through the years (American, Indian etc.) And I knew a dig at the electrics would be in there somewhere. So after the long wait, I wasn't disappointed

still daily driving my 2014 Jag F-Type, over 100k Miles, no proplems with anything except the damn door handle on the passenger side that won't completely retract anymore 😅, but my two prior cars (peugeot 307 and Daihatsu Copen) sure had way more issues with less miles. Would recommend the F-Type (prior to Jag being owned by India) 10/10.

To be fair both bmw and ford were shitty parent companies. Bmw brought in a bunch of shitty electrics and ford maybe the least reliable diesel engine on this planet. I read up on the treatment JLR received from both parent companies and it was more of an execution attempt. I mean rover didn't survive BMW and MG barely did.
