High season is July/August when prices are highest, So is the temperature. 40C is not unusual. If that is a problem I suggest you visit in May or October, Cooler and cheaper but everything is open. There is also a mini price peak at Christmas/New Year. Even in winter Malta is not very cold. Just a sweater in the evening will do.

@@theurbanjungle You're right. If you go in October the water is pleasently warm for all water sports. In May it's still warming up.
