I am a Market Partner, a licensed hairstylist, and absolutely LOVE Monat!!! I have thick, coarse, chemically treated hair, and feel a total transformationin my hair. To all the haters... unless you have used these products for a while to actually feel the benefits should not say anything. To the people that have all said the same thing that it's a scheme are hating to hate. It's not just a 9-5 job to make it in life. Marketing Networks work if you work it like a regular 9-5 job. I recommend not commenting unless you have actually used the products. Good review! It's nice to hear something positive. I do recommend becoming a MP!! You would be excellent at sharing this product. That is what you really do in this business is SHARE! We don't sell anything...we share what the product has done for you!

Florida_grl_43 Beach I think if you are already used to coarse, broken hair then you’d be good with Monat. My hair was smooth, silky and soft but Monat turned it coarse and brittle. I think maybe it does work on some hair types but definitely not for everyone

Heidi Davison my hair wasn’t broken.. just coarse. But if you highlight your hair with lightener then your hair will definitely feel extremely coarse.. but mine has gotten wayyyyy better. True statement.

I love MONAT. Saved my Hair. been using for 2.5 yrs. Wont use anything else. Its not exp. once you get through detox. I order shampoo every 3-4 months. I ve use revive to start because I had brittle falling out hair. Now i use the the advance hydration system. My hair is silky sexy healthy gorgeous hair. HEALTHY HAIR STARTS WITH A HEALTHY DIET NOT SHAMPOO..Hair repair is temporary and will mostly wash out with each shampoo you will lose 80 to 100 hairs daily and is a natural process not a detox from a product so if you want healthy hair keep your appointments with your stylist 4 to 6 weeks and trim your ends, I am a stylist of thirty years i hope this helps.

I appreciate this honest review. So tired of reviews from Market Partners. Am I the only one who hasn't seen incredible results from these products? I started with the volume products which were awful for my hair. I have fine hair but it is frizzy and unruly and those products enhanced what I hate about my hair the most. After four months I switched to the renew line which has been much better but I am not seeing the amazing, spectacular results others report.I also use the oil and the mask. Been using products for six months. Bottom line I have spent a lot of money. Products aren't bad but results have not been amazing enough for me to deal with the inconvenience of having to order online, wait over a week for delivery and pay a premium. I really wanted to see incredible results and I just haven't. I will finish what I have but won't repurchase.

It took a lifetime to get the hair you have. Be patient, use the product exactly the way it says. You already have baby fine hair so treat it with a kit glove. To much of anything will not work for your hair type. I just tried the new Oil/cream nourish shampoo and conitioner. I was blown away! if you want samples just ask, then let me work with you. volumizing products are the last thing you want for frizzy hair. it stinks that some market partners ruin it for the customer. you could have gotten the smoothing system which gives moisture and eliminates frizz. anything but volume!!!

I can't believe she's suggesting the ir line, it's for people who have no hair like bald because it's strong to stimulate hair growth and very drying. It caused my hair to break like crazy!!! Although initial outlay for products seems "expensive" the value is there because the products deliver the results and they last so long. I received mine the first week of January and am still using them. My containers are still half full and though my hair is short I am using a dime size portion on my first wash and half that on the second wash! I will continue to buy these products as they have changed the texture of my thick, greying hair for the better. My hair is soft, and no longer plagued by the wiry texture of the grey strands.

I saw a video from a licensed hair stylist and salon owner talking about how monat destroyed her client’s hair and explaining how it having a natural based product is not the same as a natural product. And how the ph level in this product is close to a relaxer and that’s why it destroys people curls or color treated hair. And that the product claims that first you have to go through a detox phase and to power through it , but the actual professional said that no way you should not experience hair loss or itching or sores etc. that you body having a reaction to the chemicals not your body detoxing! You can also get salon luxury products for cheaper

I'm betting they bought a dupe! I've seen a huge change in my hair in 4 months. My hair is becoming less frizzy, the hairloss stopped and my hair is growing back in!! You have to make sure you're getting the real product! If someone is having scalp irritation, massive hair loss or sores on their scalp its because they have an allergy to something in the product they're using and need to switch one of Monats gentler systems.

I have platinum blond color treated hair and have used MoNat for almost 2 years. My hair is healthier now than it’s ever been! And because it’s healthier it’s now longer than it’s ever been! The PH is not close to a relaxer! You can get ph test strips and check it for yourself. I never went through a detox stage but I have used professional products since 1988. However NOT ONE of the many professional products I’ve used has given me the results MoNat has! Not even a close! Oh and I am a professional Cosmotologist since 1988! The detox that some people experienced was the old Grocery store brand products being lifted off their hair and scalp. The wax and build up being removed. Which is why people have to “Mix it up” when it comes to hair products is buildup. Professional products don’t have as much buildup as store bought products. Maybe actually try the product yourself and see if it works before bashing the company for hearsay.

Thank you so much for your review! I have been using the Renew Shampoo and the Smoothing Conditioner for just a couple of weeks. I started to question my purchase because my first couple of washes my hair looked fantastic but then it became pretty frizzy and not so fabulous. I was also shedding a lot which was very concerning and my scalp was itching. I tried the Rejuvabeads today and was very happy with them but was still worried I had made a bad decision purchasing these products, as I thought maybe it was making my hair loss worse instead of better. I started to search for reviews on the internet and of course found mostly negative angry reviews that were terrifying me! Then I found your review and it was such a breath of fresh air! You are so honest and normal. You explain everything very clearly and answered so many of my questions! You explained the itching and the shedding. I know now that that is expected and that it should improve soon! I loooove Monat! I’ve noticed so many differences with my hair. Flyaways are gone, my hair grows like crazy, and my hair actually holds curls now. I had major issues with oily hair before using it. As soon as my hair dried from washing it, it would be oily already. Also, my hair would NEVER hold curls. After I started using it, the detox happened and I’ve been able to give more time between washes because it takes a lot longer to get oily. Also, my hair will hold curls for 2 days now, whereas before, it wouldn’t hold curls for an hour (with the exact same tools.) I use the Black shampoo & revitalize conditioner 😊

Please consult your physician to make sure you can take everything in the vitamins for your health. I'm curious to see what your experience will be after a lengthy time using Monat. I can tell you after a year, I've lost 1/3 of my hair, not anemic, thyroid is normal, my stylist gasped when I told him I used this and urged me to go online with the FDA and every single lawsuit pending these people experienced devastating hair loss, like me. If it's working for you that's awesome but I'm beyond devastated at how this ruined my hair and for over 4 months in still losing massive amounts of hair and not only me, my teenage daughter began losing massive massive amounts of hair and I feel utterly responsible because I swore by Monat, spent$$$'s, and neither one of us have ever had dry scalp, hair loss, anything I'm going through currently. I regret buying this, buying into the bs because I'm certainly paying for it now.

I don't use conditioner anymore. It's washing then, Rejuvabeads & Rejuvenique ™ Oil for me. I have long thick hair coarse hair that goes down to the middle of my back! I love Monat!!

If you have sensitive skin & hair LISTEN! I have struggled all my life finding a product that works for my hair. Cantu, Deva Curl ( lost some hair cause of them ) , Shea moisture, etc.. that I resulted to just using Coconut Oil. Because I was tired of my hair feeling like it was full of residue and not soft at all. I was desperate.. and I’m not going to lie, I have only been using their products for a couple days now and I can already see a huge impact on my volume, definition, and moisture. every time I would wash my hair it would feel dry and fragile. And when other hair products touched my face, I will get acne. PLEASE try their VEGAN products before you get whatever Salon products that’s filled with harmful chemicals and fragrances. I must add that I no longer get neck or head pain because of their lightweight products. ❤️

I have heard MMPs tell cancer patients they can use these products while they undergo chemo, to help prevent hair loss. They don't warn them about the Capixyl or red clover leaf oil and the medical warnings attached. They don't warn them there is a major allergen, Cocamidopropl betaine in their product. For normal people this allergen might not be an issue but for someone with sensitive skin this allergen voted 2004's allergen of the year can be painful at the very least. Since consumers are hearing from MMPs that the product is non-toxic, natural, pure and organic they are hearing this will be safe for me a cancer patient with sensitive skin or me a patient with lots of allergies. When a client does have an allergic reaction, MMPs without an education have no clue what they are looking at and encourage their consumers to push through the "detox stage", putting vulnerable clients at risk. I have with my own eyes seen an MMP tell a patient to ignore her dermatologist advice and just switch to a different Monat product. Ignore your doctor I sell shampoo I know more than your doctor.

flourishxo Hair does not get to a certain length and just stop growing! It's either breaking off or....you're not keeping it regularly trimmed (¼-½ inch) every 6-8 weeks. Get regular trims now that you think your scalp and hair are healthier and trying to grow your hair out. There is no reason your hair should not get longer than your armpits!

I tried 3 different shampoo and conditioners, 5 min mask, rejvanique regular, rejvanique light, spray leave in, and the cream leave in..I live with a market partner so she kept telling me to try different things..everything made my hair feel dry and my scalp itchy. Wanted to hop here for a minute and share my sister-in-law's personal experience with monat. Believe it or dont, but please no negative comments. When she first started using Monat, her hair started to thin out. This is something Monat calls "detoxing" (again, believe it or dont). This basically gets rid of any dead hair follicles to make room for new, healthy ones. She went through this faze for only a couple weeks but decided to stick with it. Few more months passed and her hair was thicker and growing faster than ever. She's now been using it for a year and a half and loves every second of it. I feel like people aren't giving Monat a real chance. I've also been using it for over a year and I won't use anything else. I've had my hair dresser, who I'd actually anti-Monat, tell me how thick my hair was getting. Just give it a chance. Its definitely worth it in the end. Also, I am not a Market Partner. Just sharing some personal experiences for people.

A girl I know is always going live telling all the benefits of the product. She says if you buy a certain amount of products you get a certain amount free plus other goodies. She will mention if you are a VIP you get whatever free. What I don't understand is she never tells you what a VIP is, nor the price and she never says the name of the company. If you were just scrolling through watching her videos you would have to ask, hey what company are with. I don't think, in my opinion, you should have to give a company $25 to buy products. You should always double wash.... FIRST to get rid of dirt, product, excess oil - you will not get a lot of suds because they don't use sulfates (this creates suds but will also leave a film behind on the hair). This is also why you don't get suds on the first wash - it's absorbing and "dealing" with all the dirt, product etc. SECOND wash cleanses the hair - most will get suds on the second wash. DETOX is normal when switching to any products (hair or skin) that don't contain a load of harmful chemicals.... hair comes out of your scalp (skin). It's not a fun process, but worth it in the end for better results/efficacy and and safer for your health. I AM NOT a Monat Market Partner/Rep.

I do want to give a little more information, I am a hairstylist and I do sell Monat! I love it and my clients love it! One thing we have found by using the IRT system if you are not extremely balding or are not bald you should not be using this as a system! If you hair hair like you do we recommend using a different line! We have found if you use the intense repair and you aren’t balding or bald the shampoo can do a reverse effect and your hair can start extremely shedding and become weak! This is because our hair needs moisture and protein and the IRT is too strong for us that have hair! Both the hydrate and revitalize line promote hair growth! Also it has essential oils the monat one doesn't, monat has more active ingredients in their serum but it more expensive. That's just an initial look. The pro version of gro has more active ingredients for hair growth but still has essential oils. Cocamidopropyl Betaine can be irritating for some people. The gro shampoos I can't see clover extract in either of them unless it's under a different name. It's just trying them and seeing what you like i guess. Gro contain Polyquaterniums that can coat the hair to reduce frizz while being water soluble so depends if like that. 👍

I’ve been using Monet for about 2 months and I’m shedding a lot. I shouldn’t be worried? Also since you have done hair too, do you find it hard to detangle your hair?

Bethany Lambert no you shouldn’t be worried! Because you’ve been using different hair care products that use harsh chemicals, it acted as a glue to clump up some of the dead hair that was supposed to shed off, therefore making you think you had more than you really did. You should expect shedding for a while. Nothing wrong with that!

Be worried it doesn't stop. I would advise not listening to these people who tell you to keep using it. Do your own research on the complaints. There's thousands of them. This is NOT normal. Even though it's knocked into your head over and over again that it is.
