Kalki your just awesome. As a mother of a toddler, I am still going through all of these. I am okay or I say so... How much ever men stay by our side, they will never be able to understand what a terrible, joyous, monstrous ride every mother undergoes. ❤ At the end of the day, whatever our appearance is our children seek us. That's when we feel we have made a wonder that makes us wonder and content. Stay blessed Kalki ❤

You can see the anxiety, the mess..but the love you feel for your child which you never thought you could feel is priceless....it looks scary but it's super rewarding!! It's an amazing experience but yes to each his/her own...and sometimes in you late 20s you are not ready but than you may want it in your mind 30s and don't worry about biological clock...I had mine at 36...and I am okay 😜

I watched and kept waiting for her to bring up the good parts of motherhood, the stuff that I've heard about from my mom and a couple of friends, but they were few and far between 😟😟 So yes, currently reconsidering my plan and wondering whether all of this is truly worth it🤔

No words would suffice this brilliant act and superb script outlining all the aspects of motherhood from giving birth, increased responsibilities of parent(s), post maternal depression, mother's instinct and none the less societal over expectations of a mother while overlooking the elation and plight of motherhood. This act deserves the highest award in the respective category. Excellent performance, Kalki❤

I am going to deliver my first baby in less than a month after years of infertility. I love my child to bits and have only loved being pregnant until very recently. I suddenly have this fear, this nervousness of the unknown and the uncertain. I suddenly feel like I am losing control over my life, my baby and what happens with him/her. I fear the judgements, the comments, the unsolicited opinions. Some which I have heard from friends and family and some which might not even come my way but are so deeply ingrained in how society views mothers and parenthood, that I can't shake. I don't have the pressure of looking better than before but I do feel scared about upsetting people with the boundaries I set for my baby and family. I am nervous about being the breaker of toxic parenting cycle. This poetic play, and Kalki's performance validated my nervousness and at the same time reminded me, how much worth all of this is going to be.

Being anxious means you are fine. Like the first day in a new school or college. We focus on what we can control and what we believe in. As long as we are confident that they are healthy and believe in the boundaries we set people will eventually accept it. The trick is not to try and please everyone especially those that are making you anxious.

@@vilearninglife4723 these are life lessons learnt through experience. I have a natural tendency to be anxious too. And there is a rational reason for your anxiety at this point. So being aware and accepting that my natural response to some situations is being anxious helps me move forward and process it . And work out ways to reassure myself. Some things like infertility is a journey which we traverse alone.

This is actual meaning of motherhood. There are high levels of frustration than joy for every mother, it's just we feel guilty to put it out or other make us feel more worse if we put it out. A unending advices from idiotic men with no sense of acknowledgement of what a mother go through in intial phases and how much we are in a repeat mode right from breast feeding , to sleepless nights , to household chores, emotions , health and everything what not. Yet we do stand up every day, every hour, every min every sec. It's quite unfortunate that most of men don't even bother. Thank you kalki you voiced out what many women feel at that stage Brilliant brilliant brilliant. And now again time to feed 😅 bye
