Most of the issues with the Bolero Neo can be solved by re-designing one part - the centre console. Come on Mahindra, how much can remoulding a plastic part cost? Move the central window control to the front doors like in other cars thereby creating much needed storage spaces for phones and other items. The most important addition to the centre console should be rear AC vents (this is a deal breaker for me). Willing to overlook the rather bland and featureless dashboard including the cheap head unit. Otherwise a fine vehicle mechanically...

Low baught car suv projector headlights provided base verint. 3rd is middle 2nd row 60.40 recliner flip fully foldable seat 💺 provide 2nd base model started.

Having Windows control on the central console is a good thing. Control wires would never damage due to door movement and are very safe if someone opens the door in the rain. also the passenger can control all windows that is good in case of an emergency.

I also feel central console control for windows is better than windows control specially during heavy rains you have to open the door and will take some time to close before you open the umbrella. The water may damage the switches if somehow it enters however its safe in the middle.

Modifications I did with my Rocky Beige are: 1) Tyres upgrade from 15" to 16R 265 (all 5 wheels) 2) Upgraded alloys from M&M to Neo Wheels 3) From inbuilt music system to Blaunkpunt music system 4) Replaced all the yellow bulbs with LEDs (interior & exterior) 5) Installed 360 degree camera into it 6) seat covers, cushions matting, partial silver cladding & no roof rails. My rocky beige looks more bulkier than Scorpio classic and more looks like defender

Amazing review!!!....I'm planning to go for the Bolero Neo at the end of this year... One thing which I observed, on why bolero neo scored so low on the NCAP crash test is that Bolero Neo was tested with 'new NCAP guidelines' when compared to Honda Amaze & Kia Carens which were tested with the 'old guidelines'. In my observation, Neo has lost more points because it lacked curtain airbags and seatbelt warning systems on all 4 seats which are mandatory in the new NCAP guidelines (mainly talking about adult occupancy safety ratings). But as you said - "better to reach late than never" is a good motto to remember. Great review! Hope i can contact you personally in case i have some doubts... Cheers to you from Bangalore!

@@Sidhupaadipantalu Yes, i did purchase Bolero Neo N10 R in end of August and already i've clocked 2000+ kms. Its an amazing vehicle...you don't really need the extra bells and whistles which other cars give if you love driving and travelling in your vehicle. Safety wise please don't get stuck to GNCAP results as those tests are only possible in a lab - you will be just fine if you drive responsibly. Test drive the car! you will enjoy the power and feel of the car. It is rugged and the suspension can take bad roads like a charm. Cornering over 80kmph will test your confidence, anyways that's not safe on any car. in a straight line on the highways and in the city and even up hill the car moves effortlessly.

I used to own a Bolero Power+. The flaws it had, man, a whole book can be written on that topic. But...I used to feel the car would come alive once I put it on bad roads, no roads. The moment you brought up the suspension topic it flashed in front of me. But now I have moved on to a Scorpio and the experience has changed drastically. It has become far better though!

Yeah bro bolero n10 owner from Dehradun, i agree with most of the points but the negatives don't bother me now as i am used to it, car is awsome i have driven it around 40k had done some long trips 7k trips gujrat maharastra, car is very comfortable for long trips(this you missed to mentioned) i had done 900+ km in single day. And i agree global NCAP results were surprising for me as well. Also i was able to do a 26kmpl on it on highway. And just a tip on long trips DEF runs out very fast if you are driving over 100 for me its around 6.5k range then it starts to give a message. The fule efficiency in meter is not correct its off by 1.5-2 kmpl then actual, but still good enough. Thanks for genuine opinion its good to watch your content keep up the good work. Lets meet in doon sometime.

I live in the mountains in Tamilnadu. Here 90% with vehicles are Boleros - pickups, labourer transport, vegetables and construction material, everything goes up and down and u-turne in narrow hilly steep bad to worse roads. The Bolero is local work horse. People who use a gaadi for work will not tolerate too much khit-phit. Which is why I Am considering the Neo. Proven hai. Also, Local roadside expertise has developed, in case of small problem. But, for major problem or service, i have to go down 100+km to the plains. So, like someone said so wisely, less features, leas problems, less maintenance. I don't mind keeping me phone at me crotch! My procreating days are over 😅 Also, zyada se zyada ek saal mein 5k km chalaunga to bahut hai. Haan, blind spot is an issue. I'm a nervous driver. Give me a ✋🏽 de thali if you agree with my logic.

As per GNCAP bohot criteria hai like 6airbags and hill hold, child mount and many more which is not there in bolero. So that's why rating is less or else build wise bolero is muscular no doubt. Hi sir Mai ye gadi se khush Hu 1 hi sal (only 1 year (10 hajar km)huva he par mere issue alag he Avarage 15 max 15.9 dikhata he Eco mode on off automatically hota he Or gadi ke andar water bhi ata he barish me Company ko dikhaya 4 bar par solve nahi kar paye 😭😭 Par gadi chalane me Makhan jaise he speed or saspence bohot ache he 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Very nice video , brings out all the issues that can make or break a deal !! For me - the DPF issue is a big issue, Mahindra needs to get rid of DPF re-generation , like Tata did 🙂 !! Thanks for sharing !!🙂

I agree with you, issue i faced with the Scorpio and Bolero is the offset Steering, it seems a little off and you have to sit a little tilted. I like the fact that it is a rear wheel drive and it works well on bad patches or soft roading. else it does not command the price it is asking for.Don't make it a camper van, not worth the effort.

I think you missed a couple of points 1. Unstable at high speed and road bends 2. Lack of rear ac vents I had bolero neo previously. The view from driver seat is amazing and you feel like king of road. But they should have gone for 2000 cc considering its weight
