I still believe they're in the real world though. there's no reason for them to go back to kwangya because BM is dead. they didn't ditch kwangya, the giants teasers are a proof. they also cannot just start a new era with æs and kwangya if there's no villain. they still need to find nævis who's in the real world and without her, them going to kwangya is impossible. she's the one who can send the girls to kwangya in MY WORLD, they showed the real world where things were perfect. probably in this era, they're trying to show that the real world is not so perfect and it has a dark side too

I felt that in Giselle trailer she is about defending herself from others opinions by choosing to be herself whether they like it or not. For Winter is like she is defending herself from abuses. Ningning is defending herself, being pressed to behave some way, but she let herself be free anyway. Karina is about what public sees and what it is in reality. At the end, all of that pressure in their lives hurts them, even if they try to fight it with all their means.

its like the real world version of what we saw in their smcu episodes in kwangya because the issues we see in their smcu episodes is all similar to what u said. Especially Karina's one is always tied to the public pressure vs reality and that was also seen in their smcu episodes in kwangya. I've been saying this since their previous comebacks that it feels like they will have 2 versions of their concepts, just like rv having red and velvet concept, aespa might be like the kwangya ver, and real world version, since their season 1 is all in kwangya, then we might have season 2 now which is set in the real world, and that phrase real world is even highlighted in the lyrics of drama and even their aesthetic right now is slowly shifting to the real world, which started after 'Girls'. Sorry I'm just excited of what else they can serve with their lore that they also connect to real life problems people face.

I think winter's lore is her brother was killed during a car "accident" by Tony, the guy in the house, as well as the women on the telephone, hence the call at the beginning. Winter seems to be seeking revenge on the man (succeeding, I guess? from shots of the telephone cord and her wandering in a trance + crying in the shower after and during the fight scene?)

One thing's for sure, every video they put out is related to their lore, be in Kwangya or Real World, same concept of having duality and something in between like Red Velvet. I love these trailers so much coz of how cinematic it feels and also the growth of their acting. Also, just by over a minute of these clips we have different interpretations thus, spark discussions within the fandom. I mean good and evil concept is not new but it's always SM that delivers this level of sophistication

While I wish their storylines would show up in the MV, I feel like it'd be way too hard to "fit" it all in (while pairing it up with choreo and whatever else). There's actually a theory that the next villian cloned each aespa member and misleading the girls. Cuz you can see another Giselle listening from behind the door when the real Giselle was fighting with Becky Also what if Becky was right and she saw the other Giselle actually??? And you can see 2 side of winter too n what If the voice from the telephone was the villian misleading her ( probably aettuddae). Also the other karina wants to destroy or burn down the real karina ( black outfit one) (also you can see the taxi driver fainted n karina drove the taxi) and at last for ningning she's aware of her clone or fell for her and wants to be free like her

I think Giselle, Winter, and Ningning are slowly consumed by their evil ae but in human form while Karina is out there to kill it and free themselves once again coz I noticed the wardrobe color for the three girls is black and white while Karina's black and pink perhaps she's aware

I believe that these trailers represent how the new villain is manipulating them. Karina always sees traces of the villain and the signs while Winter often gets manipulated and lured by the villain even as shown from SMCU EPS and I'm Unhappy track. Giselle is the one who's often facing the rumors and criticism and Ningning, I'm not yet certain. But all of it is interesting
