Overall, Yg created a hip-hop style by combining strong rap tracks with powerful vocals. This is unique to him. Even the reactions given in many videos and comments such as "Yes, YG style" or "Yes, I smell YG" prove to us how unique it actually is. When it comes to their dancing, they have very cool and powerful dance moves. But if you like more "sweet" concepts, I can understand you not liking this. But people probably don't think so because it's currently the most viewed debut song (in 24 hours). It reached 182 million views on KZbin. And 1 month after their debut, they received the Rookie of the Year award without any promotions (inkiyago etc.). Yes, they are very talented, very popular (even though they are new) and I am sure they will be successful. Thanks for your reaction, but I'm sure you'll have more fun next time if you react to your favorite genres and favorite label idols. (sorry for my english😔)

I think BabyMonster is in this limbo state in Korea due to being in BlackPink shadow, if they were in a smaller company, this song would have blown up, it did well on KZbin, and Spotify with the lack of promotion from YG, and no stage performances, Korea did not have any reason to rank this song and it stayed outside of the TOP 100 on all charts. But how did they get Rookie of the Year with no Promotions. Because BabyMonster is the GG of 2023, it is not over rated, they were not rated at all. This song was not an EP, it was less, just a digital download. and it still got most viewed in 24 hours. They are not OVERHYPED, they only have 5 million followers on KZbin. but 22Million views in 24 hours, and 182 Million views over all are not from subscribed Viewers only. If YG did not hold back promotions due to Ahyeon not being able to debute with the group, I am sure the single would have got a lot farther, and have been better accepted. my opinion. But YG has a plan, and the next song is said to be nothing like he has ever done before. so lets wait and see what he has for us in Feb. 2024

Batter Up is amazing! I fully support it. It brings showcases the abilities of BabyMonster. Everyone knows that they are capable of insane vocals, but Batter Up even beat BlackPink's Boombayah, as the best debut song. They have everything BP has and more.
