Aaron, the book BS&T is taken from the novel Hermann Hesse's 'Demian'. With BS&T the BTS storyline continues only now growing from adolescents to adulthood and choosing paths in life between good or evil. Which is also represented in the painting Jin is looking at. With evil seducing, looking so tempting! Even the choreography reflects new found physical awareness and feelings reflected by some of the more sensual dance moves. In the book Demian, the main character Sinclair, befriends Demian who introduces (corrupts) Sinclair into many a tempting some might say newfound enlightenment of good verses evil. The statue represents the 'fallen' angel that Jin chooses to make a pact with by sealing a deal with a kiss. Tae represents the 'fallen angel' which now breaks into a rather cynical half grin after Jin makes his choice!

Another thing that is introduced in this video, even though BS&T is still solidly within the WINGS ERA, is that we see the beginnings of the new pairings between the boys. At the start we see RM & JK sitting together, V & JH standing near one another, and SG & JM interacting, as in that “CHATROOM” scene (and yes, that’s the name of a movie....I actually took the time to look it up and watch it at that time, three years ago now so I don’t remember it)......we begin to see several instances where SG is placing his hands over JM’s eyes, like in the Japanese ver. of BS&T. If you watch the behind the scenes video for the making of this MV, you’ll learn that it was originally supposed to be SUGA who put his hands over JIN’s eyes before the reveal of the dark angel, but for whatever reason he just couldn’t do it right. I don’t know if it was the height difference between SUGA and JIN, but he couldn’t get that action right, so they decided to switch to V, who is pretty close to JIN in height. Plus V has that great combination of angelic looks and a naughty facial expression, whereas SUGA would probably just come across as evil. There is just so much going on in this video; it is jam-packed full of clues and things that represent other things etc. You should watch some of the theory videos that people made about this MV; the things people noticed are just incredible! I’m always so impressed with ARMY (“impress-ed,” as V would say). Oh, the other art piece that I believe you were thinking of at the scene of the boys at the long table, was it THE LAST SUPPER? Also, note that in many different videos we repeatedly see JIN turning his head, as if he hears something behind him or is distracted by something that catches his attention.

In the wings saga they take inspiration from that book called Demian and there's a character a god called Abraxess and he control the emotions of people. This god has balck wings and for the main character that god sees like a bad person. So Jin (light side) kissed the statu of V/Abraxess for save the other boys. But like I said before Abraxess isn't totally evil. He need someone who can control his dark side (in this case) and the only one who fall completely in the dark side it's Jhope (boy meets evil).

The painting in the beginning is Pieter Brueghel’s painting named The Fall of the Rebel Angels. The painting shows a fight between monsterous creatures and angels. I think it is a beautiful painting. You can connect it to the MV, like the dark wings which in my opinion represents a rebel angel and the wings being ripped represents the fall of the rebel angel,,, but it’s just my opinion :)

With the black wings on the statue, I thought it meant a dark angel, so when he kissed it, he's giving in to his darkness. At 2:00 there's a door on each side of the painting, left is black door and right is a white door. At about 5:16 you can see the statues behind them, left side is a devil and right side is an angel. No idea if this means anything, but found it interessting none the less.

This is the explanation of the mv with the information abt paintings.💜 Firsty Jin ,apart from everyone else, is seen looking into a painting which is "the fall of the rebel angel" by Pieter bruegel.(angels who sided with Lucifer and fell from heaven, corrupted by sinful temptations).this is a foreshadowing of the future events that comes in the video. Jin is the center focus as well as the symbol of tempted youth. The next painting (the lament of Icarus) is seen behind kookie who's dangling from a swing.the story of Icarus is marked by the representation of a naive boy whose innocent curiosity is his fatal flaw.he was given a pair of wax wings by his father but was advised not to fly close to the sun but his curiosity tempts him to do so and he falls into the ocean and drowns. Rm is the one who melts the candle from which kookie licks the melted wax from. In the myth even though Icarus's ignorance leads to his death, it is his father , Daedalus, who gives him the option of flying in the first place. So RM could be interpreted as Daedalus and kookie as Icarus. In the beginning of the video we can see RM reading sth to kookie which would play into the daedalus/Icarus relationship where the former educates and guides the latter. Later on the members are seen gathering at a table (the last supper by Leonardo da Vinci). they are all seen with a single apple in their plate. The apple is the famous symbol of sin/forbidden fruit in the biblical story of Adam and Eve. Then they all raise their cups and pledge sth. Given that the apple (which is to be eaten)is on their plate, it is hinted that they are all ready to commit to the sins of adulthood together by eating the apple together. Just before Jin is about to raise his cup/pledge , he is shown to be distracted by a voice or sth. This adds to the idea of Jin falling into temptation bcz whatever it is that called to him has captured his attention. The picture of that balloon flying away from his hands can also be the representation of his losing of his innocence. In the end v is seen to have scars where wings are supposed to be.remember that he was also the one to cover Jin's eyes and then open them to that big statue with wings. So v is most probably the statue that is, he is the fallen angel (remember v jumping off the ledge earlier in the video). jin then kisses the statue, and the kiss there, means the sealing of a contract. This means Jin has atlast fallen and "signed a contract" with v , the fallen angel and lost his innocence.

Its more like - darkness or desires are tempting hence Jin kissing the statue means he gives in to those desires while others are already consumed. RM's dialogue which says that he's (Jin) a link to the second world/evil world. He was about to exit with other boys but he turned and V (devil) tempts him thats why he turns around with clipped wings and a smirk. This doesn't mean that V is evil. It's just a context they are showing how we get tempted.

i had that writing at 14:16 translated and it came out to be ' ' YOU STILL HAVE TO HAVE CHAOS IN YOURSELF TO BE ABLE TO GIVE BIRTH TO A DANCING" .i think birth refers to that statue at 13:26 as you can see a baby statue in that statues arm. And the 'dancing' maybe refers to jhope as if u see at 13:26 jhope is sitting in front of the statue .moreover he also has a shortfilm by the name "MAMA" .I m not really sure but maybe it is so

The German quote is from Friedrich Nietzsche and roughly translates to “one must have chaos within themselves in order to birth a dancing star”. The true meaning of it is up for interpretation. The book that they’re referencing/drawing inspiration from - the one that you talked about in the beginning - is called “Demian” and it was written by the German author Hermann Hesse. And the painting Jin was looking at in the beginning is “The Fall of the Rebel Angels” by Pieter Bruegel the Elder, as far as I’m aware.

And OH - as you continue following the order of videos, when you get to FAKE LOVE, be sure to first watch the FAKE LOVE TEASER!!! It’s massively important! There are actually two Teasers, but #1 is full of information crucial to the story, and it connects the WINGS SHORT FILMS to LOVE YOURSELF. And then, there is the FAKE LOVE MV EXTENDED VERSION, another important plot point that will blow you away, and it actually connects to the iconic BTS MMA 2018 PERFORMANCE (is that right? I get these things mixed up, with the MMA and the MAMA, and which year was it, etc etc), with the mirror and the backwards writing and the creepy hoods/capes and the medieval atmosphere and the what in the world is going on??
