Aaron you talked about how you don’t feel like he’s bragging about his looks but rather says it in a joking way. You should really watch Kim Seokjin a Documentary on KZbin, cause it mentions the same thing. It talks a lot about Jin’s relationship with his looks and how he wasn’t necessarily always confident in them and also has showcases his beautiful caring personality as well. It’s only like 10 minutes long

Jin is the worldwide handsome PERIOD. Yes he doesn't sound cocky at all because we know who he is and how humble he is.... the only emotions we get from jin is from his jokes because other than that he bundles up his emotions and hide (we fans have not seen off camera realtime jin who is actually different from on camera jin). The funny thing is jin was in jungle on a survival show and he really pointed the light on his face not on the ground while he was wandering around the jungle 😂😂😂because he said that everyone can See his good looking face he dont need to find food !!! the funny thing about Jin is that he gets really shy when he gets attention and his ears turn red immediately. members always tease him about that. he seems so confident but his ears show his true feelings. he compliments himself but when other people compliment him he doesn't really know how to take it. sometimes when he gets attention, he tells the members or even the viewers to look at somewhere else, not him cuz he feels embarrassed and his ears are getting red. it is cute to see. Jin himself confessed that he did not feel confident during debut and sometimes even now but he wanted to be more confident so he pretended to be confident. he said it becomes a habit at some point and even though he was insecure before he started to feel better as time goes on. Jin is also known as really considerate, kind and respectful. especially in Korea, he is known as manner-doll (which is shortening of manner idol who is thoughtful with good manners). many people who met him always talk about how kind he is.
