Aaron this isn't a temple it's the gyeongbokgung palace with over 600 years of history I think the reason they performanced there with idol in their traditional hanbok clothing was because it's a holiday over there name chuseok

IDOL - The location is Gyeongbokgung, one of the four palaces in Seoul. They set up the stage in front of the Geunjeongjeon which is the largest and the most formal hall for official affairs Kings usually did. Mikrocosmos - It's a part of the Gyeongbokgung called Gyeonhoeru which was built for feast for foreign guests and also for the king and his court officials. BTS is singing right under the pavilion because the upstairs was made of wood and not proper for their performance.

The Buildiing where Mikrokosmos was performed is 'Gyeonghoeru' in the 'Gyeongbokgung' Palace in Seoul. The building had been used as a banquet hall in the late Joseon Dynasty.

The venue is in Gyeonghoeru Pavilion. This is the famous two story pavilion at Gyeongbokgung Palace. It's a different location from the Idol performance but are both situated at Gyeongbokgung palace. I'm not really sure but I think, the Idol performance was in front of the throne hall.

This building is one of many buildings in Geong-bok-gung Palace, in Joseon Dynasty about 600 years ago. The previous building where IDOL shoot is the main hall and this one is for banquet hall. Those are not temple :)

usually they change the mic first before the earphones or maybe they don't have to change the earphones when the mic changes. But its depends on the situation it could be malfunction. But I love the white mic with Jin. Its very elegant , pure and it is so so so very him.

Both are in Gyeongbok Palace. IDOL was taken in front of Geun Jeong Geon, and Microkosmos at Gyeong Hoe Ru, which is the biggest pavilion in Korea, a two-storied wooden structure built over a pond. During Joseon Dynasty times, the king used it as a venue for feasts in honor of visiting foreign dignitaries and for court officials.

I'm from Colombia (Spanish is my native language) so I say mikrokosmos (like Jimmy) but also I say mikrokosmos like you (when I speak in English), this song is very meaningful for me as well, one of my fav from BTS. I totally agree when you said that sometimes when we don't remember the translation of the song we still get the message somehow it's so cool and I completly understand what you meant.

In Idol they used a PALACE!!! And this is the other palace banquet one. BTS went all out! JK has to cover his tats in Korean shows because its their rules! For US shows JK can be himself. We like tats. RMs mic is baby blue it looks silver from far away but up close its baby blue. His mic has always been blue. Jin's mic did change 0.o I am not sure what happened to his pink one. I say Mikrokosmos the same way you do. I feel Jimmy said it wrong in the show. =0p Jimin is my bias and he killed it 0.0 wow. I am always impressed and surprised by his range. Such skill. Wow. JK looked so good in this. My 2nd fav is V but JK is closing the gap fast here, lol. -baby ARMY NY USA

I'm glad to talking about this place. Like Idol, Mikrokosmos filmed in the same Palace, but other place- Gyeonghoeru (Pavilion) (Korean National Treasure No. 224). This pavilion, built on the pond west of Gangnyeongjeon Hall, the king's living quarters, was where the king threw feasts for foreign envoys or his court officials. The name means that the king is capable of handling national affairs only when he has the right people around him, it was used on joyous occasions. Small one was built at first, but enlarged in 1412. Looks like I'm 7 months late. The structure in the video is a specific building that's a part of the entire palace. I personally am not fond of actually calling this specific structure "the" palace.
