Scream is honestly my favorite from the dystopia trilogy title tracks. Like I love Odd Eye but something about the scream chorus just makes me want to move. And their vocals too! Like almost everyone got to show off their vocal texture in this song which I think was great since before this only JiU and Siyeon were able to really show off their vocal texture while others got a bit lost in the middle. Honestly Dreamcatcher do get praised in the main industry by big name producers, vocal trainers and judges a lot. Like a LOT. In the Wendy vs Siyeon episode of Masked Singer for instance, Siyeon got a lot of high praise from the judges and panelists. I think the problem with their vocals not getting general recognition has more to do with them being a relatively less known group than others internationally and the general attempts by certain loud anti stans that run around calling them bad vocalists due to fandom rivalries and solo stanning culture.

This is one of my favorite performances to watch because you can hear all of them clearly and they all sound amazing but the moment Siyeon opened her mouth and sang all her lines, my jaw was on the floor every single time. I love that you pointed out in the second verse how she makes it look so effortless singing that line with so much power and control and make it sound perfect (and possibly even better than the studio version). She is unreal. I hope you watch her and Yoohyeon's cover of Sugar from this same radio show because you will lose your composure at how good both of them sounds especially Siyeon.

5:00 Love your comments about Siyeon's voice. I've seen some criticism from people saying that she isn't technically sound and that it's painful for them to watch her sing because it looks harmful to her. She is one of my favorite Kpop vocalist (or any vocalist period) BECAUSE she has relative easy access to that raw sounding power with the tone to match the style of music they perform. The way she performs in this sort of goes to show that she wasn't lying when she said she was comfortable with how she sings.

Two things: First off Gahyeon's little smile gets me every time at 6:23, just so cute the way it curls like that. Second: I've always wondered this, 6:27 during the bridge Siyeon lifts one side of her headset. I see them take out ear pieces during live performances like this too. What is the purpose of this? I've done the plug one ear thing, but never really got a good answer on removing the ear pieces or headset.

I suppose that sometimes either when they're singing a quieter part of the song (like she's doing here) or when the feedback in the in-ears is too low it's easier for them to hear themselves by just listening to the surrounding sound instead of when it's being played to them through the headset/in-ears
