The song itself is specifically made for EXO-L and it's a pre-release. The lyrics represent the connection they have with us and how important we are to each other & as you did say it is a comfort song. Strangely enough imo i almost see it as Promise 2.0 cuz of all that they've been going through. Their album is called EXIST and the reason behind that is us vice versa. As for the mv it continues their storylines and it kinda represents all that has gone down from past, present and towards the future. The rock and meteor were in other mvs as well. Each member is in a different universe seeing the effects of what happens when they are apart, meaning in a way they're stronger together. There's more to it and I'm sure other will go deeper than that but this is just the surface. We have 2 more mvs coming soon "Hear Me Out" on June 30th which was also said that it will be a more fun & upbeat song, then the title track (name unreleased atm) will drop on July 10 for their official comeback & 7th album EXIST. Looking forward to those reactions as well. Thank you for honest view for this one as always, also the "choir" part is all them 😂 can't expect anything less from the vocal kings.

Thank you for your honesty, I appreciate that. It does feel like it belongs on one of EXO's winter albums, yet it also reminds me of a Summer evening when it's sultry and you are sitting calmly with friends in front of a cooling fan, drink in hand, just enjoying the calm and quiet that only true friendship allows. The vocals are sublime, they are close your eyes and submerge in them worthy, which fits. It's almost like a reminder that with EXO, we can relax, we're in safe hands.

Thanks for checking it out. It is a wintry song! I didn't realise it at first but that grey sky is pretty much my everyday sky here, so yeah. I think the first time I heard it I was focused on being able to hear all of them (minus Lay) together once again, and it's that wonderful feeling of "these guys have been apart for quite a while but as always, they sound amazing together."

1. Yes I agree with you, this isn't really a summer song- even Suho says so "winter album, spring vibe", but this is just a bside, idk if hear me out is their title track or is it the "7th Album One"(ibeg this ain't the actual title). 2. The mv is more focused on their groups concepts them being aliens and having superpowers and that they come from exo planet stuff(don't come with me with that kwangya bs) so it's understandable if you don't get the connection(their concept is bare long and even us fans and exo themselves don't really know anything we just make up our own theories by connecting the dots. 3. Hear Me Out MV releasing in June 30 and The 7th Album MV on July 10 if you're unaware😊

Nice reaction, Aaron. I too didn’t immediately feel a connection to the song, but it’s growing on me, and it’s nice to hear 8 members singing together again. Their vocals are so great. They performed this at their fanmeeting in April as a sort of surprise/spoiler. Suho mentioned that it might be more of a winter album song, but they wanted it in anyway. Makes me think the rest of the album will be more upbeat. Personally, I like the way the lyrics match with the ocean-like melody. Hope to see you react to the coming next two MV’s when they drop. There's an entire storyline, that's why u don't understand the story. If I need to shorten it, There's x exo and exo. X exo are villain clones. They fought in 'obsession' and exo lost. In don't fight the feeling mv the x exo is on a spaceship watching the meteor strike as they destroy the world. This mv shows exo sad and sulking as the meteor hits as they have no power and x exo won. And finally we see it reverse. Showing, exo has a chance to save the world again.

I'm an Exo-L and still, I didn't connect to the song at all. This ballad is not pertinent at all for a band as talented as EXO. It feels like SM bought a cheap song for them to sing. If this wasn't for their voices, I wouldn't even hit the replay button. I hope SM didn't mess up the rest of the album, considering how they treat the best band in their catalogue.
