You need to see chanyeol's stage for all of me cover, he was singing and playing the piano while the stand of his microphone was falling down from thier place, and he actually managed to preform with one hand holding the microphone, and one hand playing the piano w singing untill the staff came out to help him and hold his mic stand so he would be able to focus on the song fully

EXO's health was really mistreated in their rookie years, so many instances where they performed exhausted and sick - especially Chinese members. I'm so glad they pulled through and are now senior artists that have more control over themselves 🩶

The baekhyun part always made people confused. It was a stage but not the official one. He was in his MC outfit here it doesnt make sense 😅for his microphone not to be attached to him and him wearing a different cloth from the others. The main mistake there was his part was played twice so the dancing got confused.

It was an actual stage. The reason Baekhyun is wearing a different outfit is cause he was the MC there. They were only supposed to perform the dance which is why Baek doesn't have a mic on him

The reason why Baek was wearing a different outfit during one of those performances is cuz he was a host in an awards show they attended and didn't have time to change. EXO had won awards back to back, performed the winning song, barely had time to sit back down when they announced another of their wins & had to go back on stage.

In 9:50 the problem is that after Baekhyun completed singing the first part 'she got me going crazy' the music continued again. But instead of the music after 'going crazy' comes 'wae simjangi ttwini' in the lyrics. You can see here in 9:57 that instead 'wae simjangi ttwini' the music continued again. That lyrics was delayed because of technical issue. No one is fault here except who is in control of the sound backstage. If you once listen to the song monster u will understand. You can hear the fanchant 9:55 'Exo monster' after that comes 'wae simjangi ttwini' but the music repeated again.

I was at the concert when Transformer stopped playing and the audience started singing along. It was at Exordium in Mexico City in 2017. They continued singing and dancing, but at the end they repeated the whole song once the technical problem was solved. They apologized and were always super professional.

So sadly that with Kai's waist didn't happen during that particular performance. He had chronic waist pain basically from their debut and especially those first two years after debut he wasn't allowed (both by himself and the company) the time to truly rest and give his body a break so he could heal. He was in pain for a lot of those performances back then, some days were just better than others. Kai has stated many times that as long as it's not his legs that are injured, he will perform and be on stage no matter what. We just never new how serious his pain was until years later when he told us he already has had multiple back hernia's 😕

For the monster confusing part is that in Baekhyun's part it was a little bit late maybe he forgot to sing it so they added the ar version late so that messed up the choreography timing a little bit that's why they look confused (i hope u understood I'm bad at explaining 😭)

No that’s just what people assumed , what actually happened is that the performance that night was prerecorded but they performed live for the fans, and baekhyun happened to be the mc for that award show (you could tell by his clothes) so there was no time nor did he actually have to put on a mic !🥰

⁠ No, the regression error is in the following clips, not in the clip I pointed out. And it’s not a rehearsal, because they had already recorded the presentation that is shown on the screen, only that Baekhyun was dressed like this because he was MC during the live broadcast of the program, only that maybe they wanted to make the live presentation for the fans but that was not shown on the screen because there was already a recording, on the other hand if you look at Baekhyun it does not have a microphone, so I think he didn’t have the time to put it on because he was busy or he just didn’t want to put it on because that presentation was not the official one, but the face of Everyone’s surprises makes me assume that if I had to put it on and he just realized it on stage, but it still didn’t matter because it was only a gift for the fans and it wasn’t the presentation that is shown on the screen because it was already recorded. ✨

And the reason for them stopping was not because of the microphone it was because baek intro was repeated. If it had been cos of the mic as soon as the song started he would have noticed it.
