Yeji's voice was definitely different to me too. Her voice sounds more open, and full, and her English pronunciation is better than ever in my opinion. And you definitely use more like fullness in your voice when you speak English compared to Korean (I think), and basically ALL of Yeji's lines feel a lot fuller. And the enunciation is definitely better too, like I can distinguish all of the syllables more than usual.

I feel like Yeji's voice sounds different all the time, sometimes it's a little higher like in wannabe but then it can be deeper like MITM, kinda near her talking voice, in my opinion ( : but Yeji and Lia killed the chorus

It just leaves us speechless. I think that with LOCO the music production was neater than in MITM. You just feel it. And the MV is so far the best they’ve had. ITZY set the standards for 4th gen groups

I think the reason why you feel you are hearing Yeji's vocals a little different is because at points either Lia or Chaeryeong comes in and sings the last few words of her verse with her and transitions to their parts, its a new type of layering they haven't done before. It is awesome.

This is honestly instantly my new favorite Itzy song. It's slightly constructed section-wise like "In The Morning" which was more like a song you'd hear in America... but THIS one has a delightful subtle Itzy chaos that made them famous. I don't know if I'm making any sense lol.

People were saying that it reminded them of second-gen kpop and I have to agree with that. It is very second-gen sounding but definitely with a gen z twist. The chorus specifically sounds a lot like second-gen kpop in my opinion.

I was the same, when MITM came out, I was like "woahhhh ahhhh" and really excited, but hearing Loco, I was calmer and but like more invested in the music but also the visuals, like I was hooked into the mv, it's super weird 😂 we all know that ITZY has their own type of vibe, so I'm not sure what I was expecting but ma ears were blessed 🤧

As a Yeji fan this makes up for the travisty that was MITM. Good note though, listen to the B-sides they're pretty good this time around, and Yeji's lazy rap parts in gas me up are great in that.

OT4 fans always complained that Yeji gets all the lines and attention, but every line and screen time is well earned. The implication that there's favoritism is tiring.

Itzy improved so much during this comeback! Especially during live stages I can notice that Chaeryeong sounds a lot stronger. She's always been the most stable one but her voice was rather soft before. Yeji on the other hand was always pretty stable and very powerful but her pronunciation improved a lot and her voice sounds a bit more open now. Lia's stage presence and facial expression skyrocketed! Ryujin is also way more stable with the low notes and Yuna worked on her deep tone. I'm really proud of them!
