The Spotify version is actually 19 seconds shorter and it makes sense because they probably don’t want us to just like sit and listen to the background music since it’s also a very simple music part in the song so it might not have been the most exiting to listen to without any vocals💖
@maviciguin71634 жыл бұрын
Weirdo MultiStan the extra part of instrumental before the dance break wasn't really part of the song. Remember in Knock Knock, before the bridge part, there was a extra instrumental so they can show the story line.

I think Aaron hit an important point in when he said that even tho it's not as experimental as ICY it still has itzy's sound. And I think that hits on a broader point on why JYP Girl Groups are always so successful. They always have their own individual colour that stands out from the crowd and itzy's is definitely something different than what we've seen before and i think it's why they're doing so well.
@jenesaiis4 жыл бұрын
Idk about other jyp artists.. but itzy is one in a million in kpop world ( there are many in different concepts and itzy is one too). They should take good care of them. They're very ICONIC and UNIQUE ! I think Stray Kids are very amazing too like Itzy. But itzy has this unique concept and music, beat, that you know it's itzy ( like Aaron pointed ). You never mistake any other ggs song for itzy, nor do you mistake Itzy's songs for any other gg BECAUSE THEIR MUSIC ARE VERY UNIQUE

Chaeryeong's scene shows her being chased by something?! Maybe because she is wearing a different uniform than the ones being displayed by her side. In short, she is chased because she is different.
@maviscrownguard14364 жыл бұрын
I found a theory about her scene as well. Her scene takes place in a school uniform factory. The uniforms represent the society and the drones being the standards. She runs away because she thinks she can’t handle the standards, but the drones keep pushing her to meet their standards. At the end, Chaeryeong decides to stand her ground, confronts the drones/standards and she wins because she got sick of being pushed by “meeting standards” You can see that when she first found the drones and when she got chased, she looked scared, but at the end, she didn’t look scared anymore, so that’s why she decided to show herself as her, and wins.

Awesome reaction! Just a few things to clarify in case you still don't know: 1. The group's concept is called teen crush, which is a mix of girl crush and the fresh/youthful charms of, well, teens. There're prolly other groups out there that have used this concept, but the only other group that I know uses this concept is called Weki Meki. ITZY might branch out and explore other concepts later on, but you could say this is their core concept. :) 2. The group's name, ITZY, mean something along the lines of "everything you want, we have it". This is also incorporated into their greeting - "All in us". 3. Their fandom's name, Midzy, is actually a combination of the Korean word for "believe" (믿어 or Mid-eo) and ITZY. Not too sure which one it is, but I think it means something along the lines of "those who believe in ITZY" or "those who ITZY believe in". Hope this helps. MIDZYs, if I messed anything up, I'm sorry and corrections are appreciated. :D
@AmadanMath4 жыл бұрын
Psyche 92 “-ji” is both an uncertainty particle and an affirmation. It’s like a tag question “... isn’t it?” and an answer to it “yes, that’s so” all rolled up into one. You might have seen “Itzy? Itzy!” tagline: in Korean it makes perfect sense, “Issji? Issji” is the conjugation of the word “issda” meaning “to have”, so the tagline translates to “They have it, right? Of course they do!” (referring to any quality you might want from them: dancing, rapping, looks, vocals...). BTW, I’m using a precise transcription, but you can also see “itji” or “itzi” used for the same word. It is pronounced something like “itchy”.) In the same vein, “Midzy” (or in original, “midji”, pronounced somewhere between “mitchy” and “bitchy”) is the same conjugation, but of the verb “midda”, meaning “to believe in”. So “midji” is, again, both “They believe in us, don’t they?” and “Of course we believe in you!”. You can also see it in a sentence Itzy used on Twitter: “Midji, Issji midji?” “Midzy, you believe in Itzy, right?” “-ji” is a very commonly used particle in Korean, but I have a feel Itzy use it more, sort of as a signature thing. So “Midzy” is more than just a smashup of two words, there’s grammatical meaning behind it :) (Also, you’re not wrong: mideo is another form of the same verb, and because pronouns are not mandatory in Korean, it is left up to interpretation who has what, and who believes into whom.) has

I like the song, but have mixed feelings about the message because of where it's coming from. JYP created Itzy. Everything about them is a creation of their agency. They have no freedom at all, from the way they dress to their hair styles and behaviour. The only one I feel I know is Chaeryoung because of Sixteen. The rest of them are carefully crafted images meant to appeal to teens. So, great message. I just wish it applied to them.
