Since I saw noone mention it, this is a cover of an older original MTH song, and IIRC the girls are singing Nao parts, the drummer

@@BlackArr0w WOW! I did not know that. So this is not an original for the collab?

MTH is not really influenced by SOAD, because the gap between the formation of the two bands was only 4 years. SOAD is not really famous in Japan when MTH was formed, so I think it's more like Rage Against the Machine, Rancid and Misfits.

@@YourAveragePredator ahhh that seems more likely!

This collaboration doesn't really surprise me. AG! and MTH have different musical styles, but their unconventional spirits are similar and AG! are no strangers to headbanging as they have done it in "Mayoeba Toutoshi". Also AG! get to sing the more melodic bits of Shimi and the best bit is Rin's rap.

Now that you mention, you are right! This collab makes absolute sense! 🤘🏻

Thanks for the react! Like you already know Atarashii Gakko you may already know my recommendations but just in case: the "First Take" version of "Otonablue" is awesome, and in in their lesser-known songs I really like "Giri Giri" and "Omakase". And about J-Rock I would recommend "Haha!" by Trident I don't think it's a very well known band. Also I very like "Thrill" and "Domination" by Band-Maid.

I have heard everything you’ve mentioned EXCEPT Band-maid. I’ve heard a lot about them and a buddy of mine is obsessed with Band-Maid, but I’ve been meaning to dive in.

This is truly the best collaboration song of the year, and there have been a lot of good ones this year. My favorite Japanese bands? My favorite J-Metal bands are Hanabie and Maximum The Hormone. My favorite J-Rock band is BRATS. Do you know the band of the Kuromiya sisters Rei and Aya?
@realdocloco21 күн бұрын
Great band, but unfortunately on hiatus - Rei went back to her idol roots with Reirie (I still hope it is only a way to finance Brats' future - finger crossed)

I’ve heard a little bit about BRATS but have never truly dived in!

Please react to Yoshu Fukushu by Maximum the hormone! 😊
