I think morrisette voice is like that because she's trying to sound soft as possible since it is a disney song. She also said it before on tv that it's hard for her since she can't do her own style on the song since it is a disney music.. It's not what exactly said but you get what i mean.😅 She clearly restraining herself to put his own style on the song maybe that's why. My theory is that but im not a professional on this field so yes maybe im wrong.😂💜💜

MORI is actually nervous because the original singer is actually Lea salonga the orginal miss saigon, the voices of princess jasmine and mulan of disney, and one of her The Voice Philippines coaches back in the days, and she is quite picky when it comes to singers doing her songs.

Even if morissette would claim she's nervous, i have never.. ever.. seen her nervous. Once she opens her mouth, she gets lost in the song, thats why anxiety never becomes her when performing. I dont know about tired vocals too. She could have easily used her super headvoice on this one, but she maintained a very controlled volume on this performance, thus excellent harmonies. In fact, her posture speaks of confidence, that given when youre on the wish bus you have to sing songs while sitting down, but this performance she sang it with crossed legs.

They are so used to singing together that they just blend smoothly. They did Chandelier together when Darren was just 14 yrs old. This is the first time in a few years that Darren has appeared on the Wish Bus but he has done a lot of music and concerts since then and has come through puberty with his voice doing amazing. He just turned 18 y.o. on May 24th. Darren is like a little brother to Mori.

If you watch their Disney press launch video interview, Morissette mentioned that this is not her usual style as this was more theatrical than her usual stylings. So no, it doesn't have to do with her being nervous or sick just that it's out of her usual stylings (belting, vocal breaks, whistling). This is after all going to be an official Disney recording.

If you knew Mori, she's used to singing with a thick tone and she do lots of growls and she's trying very hard to not do that in this song since it's Disney. She and Darren trained to have a Disney voice, I don't know if it's part of the agreement since they were handpicked by Disney itself to do their version of this song for Philippines. But the way they sing in this particular song is really different from the way they usually sing.
