really general background for the mv: -Chuu is seen coping Yves moves from Yves mv to show her love/obsession. the screenshot of Yves's song is from her real Spotify lol. -the apple, devil's laugh in the background, and even Yves's name are all a reference to Genesis and her fall into "Sin" (the love she feels for Yves and what Yves feels for Vivi (who has a boy she likes in her own mv). -the parts of the mv where she is outside in the snow by herself and waking up after imagining Yves with her in a dream is a reference to the much more tragic little match girl story by Hans Christian Andersen (who wrote the original little mermaid). Loona does not mess around with their mvs and storyline and lord knows i can't even begin to understand the storyline.

@@Strwbrychaee there is a theory that the boy is actually yves, since it was revealed that some of vivi's memories are damaged/corrupted (her tape is shown with cracks in it and her story is that she tries to retrieve her memories in her solo mv). yves is traditionally a boy's name, so it stands to reason that vivi might remember her as a boy instead.

The song overall is somewhat cute, but what I really love is the overall emotion in the song. From the bubbly parts in the chorus, to the sort of somber desperation in the bridge. Chuu’s voice is definitely a big part of that.

Chuu's MV came out after Yves' MV (Chuu's crush in Heart Attack) and in HA there are many many references to Yves' MV 'new'. Particularly in scenes where Chuu tries to imitate her, she copies things Yves did in 'new'. And your theory is correct I believe! Even though it's supposed to be just Chuu's fantasy. Also when they start celebrating together, there are multiple shots of them eating Strawberries, Chuu's fruit. Your theory is correct that she started loving herself, but also in Loonaverse it meant that she tried to be like Yves (apple) to appeal to her, when she needed to be herself (strawberry), bc that's when Yves accepted her.

Good guess! Chuu is the 10th girl to debut. The girl she stalks is the 9th girl Yves (pronounced as in Adam and Eve). The 11th and 12th girl to debut together with these two will form another sub-unit. These 4 girls are centered on the concept of self-love. This sub-unit is really weird since they're also called "The Girls From Eden".

Oh hey! Cool reaction! You're interpretation is actually accurate. Because notice how Chuu's obsessing over Yves that she's starting to copy her? Yes so true and that's why Yves couldn't accept her because she's not using her own wings for what its made of. In the loonaverse, they have representative animals, Yves, the girl she's obsessed with is represented by a Swan while Chuu is a Penguin, a flightless bird. So its really nice how they put it like that. And so when Chuu accepted herself hence eating the apple, Yves accepted her. And the reason why she's on the ground lying in the end is because she fell... Here's a theory that's isn't in the video. Yyxy is a subunit composed of Yves, Chuu, Gowon and Olivia Hye. All of them reside in Eden, a utopian place where they're expected to be perfect. However, one girl, Yves. Decided to oppose "god" or whoever's in-charge of them by eating the "apple". She then brought Chuu in this party of betraying "god", tho the purpose is to free them. That apple is their ticket to way out. So when Chuu accepted her fate by eating the apple, she fell to Earth, where another subunit mirrored by their world. Yes, they have alternate versions of themselves 1/3 and YYXY are mirroring and time flows backwards in Eden. So you'll notice Chuu's intro logo and all of the yyxy unit girls, is opposite to any of the 1/3 unit girls. Chuu's alternate self is Haseul. That's why at the end of Heart Attack, Haseul appeared. And since Haseul appeared, that only means that Chuu is no longer in Eden but rather on Earth where 1/3, their alternate selves, resides. Cool right?
