HONEST REACTION to NCT 127 엔시티 127 'Simon Says' MV

Fun fact: the producers of this song were asked to make it as peculiar and eccentric (as well as noisy) as possible, even some inclusions in the instrumental were absolutely insane (I mean have you ever heard a song where the instrumental contains a high pitched horse voice?) . the song was basically dedicated to the people who called nct (particularly 127)'s music "noise" and labelled that as a bad thing. This is in order to show that NCT will only continue to embrace the noise quality of their music and, despite what those people continue to say, make it a unique quality about them that the enjoyers of music will find it rather interesting and attractive (nct we are so sexy lol). Simon says is one of my all time favorite nct and kpop songs ever. There's something about the way the 127 members performed it with such overflowing confidence and cockiness, they were rude and unapologetic in a way and it was exactly what this instrumental needed!!! I can talk about this song for days tbh and I really hope 127's Comeback can be as arrogant as this one!!

So, Simon Says is a children's game. The main person will say something like "Simon says touch your nose" or "Simon says tap your foot" and you follow the instructions. But if the person just says "touch your nose" you aren't supposed to do it, and if you do you're "out". I hope this clears it up! Simon Says was the first NCT song I ever heard so I have a special place in my heart for it. Even the "bless me achoo" line. 😄

Put simply: those calling NCT music as noise are nothing but jealous and feeling-threatened haters and SIMON SAYS was released “especially for them”. Thank you for sharing your personal story and for promoting these very underrated young men. Exactly like your best friend’s experience, I clicked immediately with the music as soon as hearing an NCT song one providential day, and I’m really glad to hear he is possibly on his way to becoming an NCTzen (especially since the new sub-unit, the new members, 127’s new album, WayV’s new album, and NCT 2021 are all coming very soon…).
