Joy's a self-proclaimed perfectionist so she's always striving to deliver the best possible performance, and only she knows how often she feels she falls short of that. I think she's mentioned that it really weighed on her that time her voice cracked during the promo livestream for their 2016 release One of These Nights. Of course she's built herself up again since then, but maybe she's conscious of it. Edit: I always figured Yeri laughed because she was giddy about the audience, whether she made eye contact with someone, saw someone do something, whether she reacted to their enthusiasm or hearing the fan chants up close. That kinda stuff.

the fact that you read joy soo well... she has mentioned before having issues regarding her confidence while singing, and that she loved singing more than anything but at some point (after a particular incident) she felt scared every time she sang... it's sad because she's super talented but she has improved her confidence A LOT (you can see it in different live performances)

I feel so sad for joy. She was once bashed by a lot of knetz when she did a bit of mistake during OOTN promotions. And from that day, she started to doubt herself and never sang with confidence again. But from today, I think she's starting to gain her confidence again because a lot of people praises her singing now. Slowly, she's gaining a lot of attention because of her unique and distinct voice and I'm happy for her. She's my ultimate bias.

She wasn’t sick. Seulgi hasn’t been sick for 2019. If she was sick we would be very worried with the whole crisis right now. She just didn’t do her part right which is fine because it is something Seulgi struggles with herself. When she starts to sing high notes she becomes falsetto and it losses it’s power.

I think joy has a unique vocal color and I think you probably didn't know that Joy is the busiest member in red velvet, she probably tired here and also Joy didn't have that much Lines that will showcased her vocal in this comeback, I recommend you watch the Remember forever live version, Joy has showcase more of her vocals in that song, Her parts in psycho is Not that vocally challenging also if You hear joy covered the parts of wendy in psycho when wendy was absent during the award show, Joy was really impressive

I see a lot of comments bashing seulgis singing skills during that performance. And most of the people are defending her by saying she was sick but haven’t yall seen that she had a problem with her in ear piece from the beginning on? That in ear piece is extremely important for the artist during the performance since you’re hearing the music AND your own voice through that piece. Since she had a problem with it during the whole song she wasn’t able to stay on the right pitch hence feeling uncomfortable singing the high notes which is very understandable!!!
