Hope you all enjoyed! Can do more of these reaction videos if so. The MBA is a great degree for many but we all need to poke fun at ourselves from time to time lol. Also to be clear this is just all from my own perspective / experience so I can't speak for all MBA students so please keep that in mind.

Great content as usual, man! Really glad I found your channel.
Are you going to be a career man and focus on your business or are you going to get married and start a family? Would you have time for both in the future?
@rareliquid Жыл бұрын
running your own business is busy but the great thing about is that you're able to create your own schedule so definitely start a family for me and will make the time for it

This was cool content and honest admission with reality check on how people may perceive MBAs. And funny as well 😂

@@rareliquid someone asked if a certain school area was safe especially for women students. I jokingly said 'It will be - as long as I'm not there' and now I'm permabanned. Thanks mods! Bunch of neckbeard reddit mods Sucks cuz I cant post or ask MBA things anymore or post this video there so now someone else can karma-farm

Make a video on the best skills to learn whether it is a specific software, language etc for individuals aspiring to broaden their knowledge and essentially get into higher paying positions or start their own business.

In Europe like in Sweden, people can go to top business schools and take little debt for the low tuition fees. So they are still largely financially free after graduation. But they would still move onto traditional industries like IB and consulting. So career progression and risk-aversion really sound like the true reasons for getting such a degree here.

i agree with most of the negative comments, MBA only makes sense if you're living and working in the US, only in a big corporate setting

Great video, Ben. Glad to see you back on the KZbins 😅 Would love to see more of this type of content; it adds nice variety to the channel. I'm curious, what were your change-the-world ideas/plans that you were hoping to achieve?

Wow, a Wharton MBA costs 250k just for tuition, kinda seems you have to be rich already just to study to be rich...

People are literally jealous for no reason. They hate investment bankers as if their primary job is steal from their bank accounts or pockets. They also hate ivy leaguers a lot. Its better to not even pay attention to them. Criticism is important for growth and its a feedback but receiving hate is just unbearable.

Do you feel as though it is easier to network or smoozch with the rich people in the mba or not really because they have their own world that they are living in and only want to associate with other rich people? Thanks.

do you think that to make a career in IB, until becoming a partner, you need an MBA? how long could it take you to become a partner in IB?
@rareliquid Жыл бұрын
if you are already in the field you don't and you can just go from analyst to MD. analyst is 2-3 years and every position after that takes 3 years on average (associate, vp, ED, then MD) so quickest is 11-12 years to make MD if you join right after undergrad

@@rareliquid thanks a lot for your answer. I see many people, who talk about promotions only referring to the years they have to wait to move from one position to another. But is this actually the case or do you have to bring more benefits to the bank than your seniority?

Thanks for calling out the double standard for Asians. I think it's due to white guys feeling entitled to acceptance and admiration in Asian circles (mostly to hit on Asian women).

Imagine being from a country where everyone is a random color and you have no true identity- welcome to american, where white= irish, german, british, australian, half white black, half white korean, chinese, japanese, indian, etc. you are spot on- its not weird, and its normal to us, devilish white people. quadruple edit: I have no asian friends = some of my best friends are black lmaooo

My MBA at Temple University is different. I just finished my first year and I will tell you this...if You dont come to classes, YOU WILL FAIL. ..and the policy is that you make at least a B...if you make a C in ANY class, you REPEAT the class. I sometimes get annoyed about how hard we are required to work because when I speak to other MBA student in other schools, it is almost like they dont have to work as hard...the MBA at Temple university in philly is different. Our classes are very demanding...all my first year classes were demanding and I didnt MISS any class during my 1st year

I agree 100% minorities are always told we have to venture out and hang out with everyone but white folks literally hang out with other white folks 99.9% of the time and it’s totally fine for them. 90- something percent of white people date other white people too, so I don’t get why it’s an issue when we just wanna stick to ourselves!!
