The live performance in SHINee World IV concert was the most touching stage for Shawol I believe. They brought more emotions to the songs and they really sang from the hearts especially when Jonghyun singing the bridge. Of course, everytime they sing this song made me want to cry as I just felt related. Thank you for doing SHINee reaction again, this is a good pathway to explore more about them.

Jonghyun is taemin's num.1 fan, and what was really emotional that Shinee did a recent live performance for this song in 2019, and Taemin sung Jonghyun's high notes, and he cried during the performance and he stated that this is his favourite song since it's about the five members of Shinee

This song is very special, it always hits me in the feels :')) another one that does it is Selene 6.23. Vocally it's somewhat similar to An Encore but musically I think it fits your taste better. It's probably even more important and special to the fandom because Jonghyun wrote the lyrics for it and it can be understood as a message of longing the international fans specifically. They often sing these two songs back to back.

It's one of my favorite things out of many about SHINee, I love every single one of their voices individually but when they sing together it's a whole other experience. It does give OST vibes I agree, but a very beautiful one. Speaking of OST's SHINee has plenty of them actually both as a group and even more as soloists. I believe every member except Minho has recorded at least 1 OST for dramas or other projects. Onew has the most of them his voice is especially fitting for such songs, followed by Jonghyun and Taemin. Some of the most notable ones include Green Rain (it has a MV) and Stand By Me - it was used for a very popular series 'Boys Over Flowers'. Also, Jonghyun and Taemin had recorded one OST together as a duet, it's called 그 이름 or 'Named' I really love it, probably my favorite one. You can really hear the similarity in Taemin's voice to Jonghyun there, maybe you'll check it out someday for his reaction.

There's a reason why you're one of my favourite kpop reactioners. Although I know you're not into certain kinds of sounds like Encore, you do put your full attention to it when reactioning. And you give honest commentary. And you're very respectful toward the art of it regardless of your personal likes/dislikes. And you respect your viewers for taking time to watch you. I appreciate that a lot. This is how a reactioner should be. I've seen a few noob reactioners that actually nod off while reacting (coz they take in any body's recommendations to increase visibility of their channels), or remain silent throughout the MV or song and end with "thanks for watching", no comments, no feedback, nothing! The worst one was, they listen to the first 30 secs or so, stop the MV with a disgusting face (obviously disliking it) and end the streaming right after. Appalling! So, Aaron, thank you! You're a good man! And thank you for this reaction of Shinee's Encore.

I’m glad that you Iike this song! I remember you mentioned in previous videos that you hope us to recommend you some more music that show how SHINee is a “experimental” group, so I just want to add more on to that. SHINee is not just experimental in their music, first, they are the first Korean boy group who went on to this “younger brother” kind of concept (like Replay). After SHINee there are more and more boy group going for a similar concept, like boyfriend and Nct dream. SHINee is also experimental in their stage outfits, they are the first one who wear leggings on stage (especially colorful leggings lmao) and it became viral among Korea and Korean boy groups. SHINee is also the group who brought Kpop choreography into another level (I believe it was Lucifer), after that, idol groups start to emphasizing more and more of their choreography and create harder choreos, so SHINee was like a turning point for this. By the way if you want to listen some more experimental music, I think Prism would be a great choice, and please please please also watch the live stage!!!

Cierto, las voz de Taemin, se me hace similar en algunas partes a Jonghyun, y junto a Onew lo ayudaron, gracias a ellos Taemin ha ido mejorando y llegar a ser un gran vocalista; aún recuerdo cuando dijo que se sentía insuficiente ya que en esa época aún era joven y quería ser como sus hyungs, y gracias al gran apoyó y ayuda que recibio de sus miembros tuvo más confianza y ahora tiene una voz muy hermosa. even though you said the translation was good, i still think that the translation wasn’t delivering the sentiment of original Korean lyrics that well. Now we lost Jonghyun, and every time i listen to this song, wondering how they released this song as if they knew what was coming:( of course it was more for couple who broke up, but now for us, it is more about losing loved ones and how to deal with the emotion after that lost. Always make me feel overwhelmed…truly the masterpiece.

There are many good Shinee songs that Aaron will like but why are all the patreon requested are the ones not his type? Aaron appreciate their vocals but in music he just really doesn't connect w/ Shinee. So, please when you request a Shinee song again, it must be his music types. @@stormy8171 undercover is really a good song and one of my faves from that album. ❤️ Why are you so angry? I’m just trying to protect Shinee. You know this has been a discussion in the twitter, how new reactors appreciates more the new and modern sounding song.. but for us fans who has been with Shinee experience from day 1.. we can appreciate how they were actually the trailblazers in korean pop. How they started and popularized retro pop, retro modern, autotune, heavy synthesizer, dubstep, deep house music, Low Fidelity Music, Modern Hiphop throughout their career in the Music Scene. Like how Sherlock was a hit back then, but now new kpop fans would see it as a boring song since there is nothing much going on with the music progression. In the case of Aaron, we respect him as a reactor. But he is still not familiar with all of the discography of shinee. How they were trailblazers of kpop. For example, us fans were happy and excited with the album The Story of Light. Despite the recent passing of Jonghyun they have given us a new album and dedicated it to Jonghyun. But when someone who doesn’t know the story behind that album, they would just say “hmmmm this sounds like a chill, mood song, not really my type”. Which actually happen with his “Countless” reaction.

Common, comment section are created for discussion. People will like it or not. You should accept that. But what we should prioritize is to help Shinee be recognized as a great kpop group. But if you will keep on requesting for songs which he doesn’t like, he will have an impression that all songs of shinee are not his type. Can you see the bigger picture here?
