I’m sure others have stated most of this info but I’ll just write my condensed version anyway: 1. This is actually a bside that was released on the same mini album as moonwalk. The original version of this song was released in mandarin but they made an English version as fan service. 2. Because it’s a bside and a “remixed” English version of an original song, the music video went for a more minimalistic “budget” look though I personally feel it fit the feel of the song. 3. This is what fans like to call WAYV’s “Hoe Anthem” 4. This song is about a one night stand with a foreign woman/person and because it was originally released in mandarin, some of the lyrics make more sense after knowing that fact like “you don’t speak my language” because without context some of those lyrics make no sense when the song to the music video is in English. 5. They worked really hard to make the English version sound as good as it does when some members don’t speak fluent English (get it WinWin!) But yeah, I get where you’re coming from when you say some parts sound boring, or almost “safe” so to speak. They just wanted to make a sexy song that could be understood and relatable to all audiences (at least grown ones).
