Aaron, you missed: 1. There are two versions of Wendy. The one singing and the one listening. 2. Based on the lyrics, Wendy is singing to herself, thus two Wendy versions. 3. The listening Wendy came to a realization while listening to the song and wrote in a notebook. The notebook is then seen on the Like Water MV. 4. At the end of the MV, the title “When This Rain Stops” is changed to “Wendy’s Rain Stops” indicating that her suffering (from the accident) ends with this solo debut. 5. This song is mostly for herself. Hope this helps 🥰

The live version of When This Rain Stop is like the current Wendy talking to the hiatus Wendy cause of the sbs accident.It feels like that for me.I actually have a hard time holding back my tears when I listen to this song for the first time

Fun fact: this song was recommended by soo many idols to their when asked by fans for recommendations or by themselves shared it 😍 ... I think it's bcoz of the comforting lyrics that they can relate while singing it to themselves 💙 ... A truly masterful ballad that our Wendy had sung for herself to gain the strength !!

You have to know the context of the situation Wendy was living at those times. When Wendy was injured, the company made her wrote letters every month for Reveluvs. I understand that the Wendy seeing the other Wendy singing was the Wendy "injured" that's why she's sad and writing something, the other Wendy is singing for the other Wendy :') is really emotive when you read the lyrics and realized that she is singing for herself telling her that everything will be okay. You missed the last minutes of the video when the title changes from When this rain stops to Wendy's rain stop. Sorry for my bad English :(
