Hmmmm... finally a (G)I-dle song that you liked a little bit. The concept though... A bitter pill about the realities of social media ideals that is sugar coated as a Disney Y2K bop to help the medicine go down. Minnie is the "influencer" who is unhappy about losing followers (mis-translated as "slacking followers"), Miyeon is the queen bee of her group (with Yuqi and Shuhua) who is unhappy because she can't live up to the Minnie standard. Yuqi and Shuhua are Miyeons supportive little drones who work at the "I feel" shop and wait on Soyeon who just feels ugly because she doesn't fit in with any of the aforementioned groups. At the party (with the cool panning still frames) we see that everyone there is basically dressed the same and looking elsewhere for cool-cues while also being dissatisfied with themselves.

I think this song and mv is kinda y2k vibe. The music make me think of pop rock in disney era, Avril Lavigne… and mv some scene look like recreation from Ariana but the mood, all of them make me think of ‘00 movie like clueless, legally blonde, she’s all that, mean girls.

Idle es mi grupo fav e igualmente quiero que a las demás personas les gusten pero todos tienen su gusto; hasta él al principio dijo que aunque no le fascinen algunas de las canciones de Idle, ama que no sea un grupo como los demás, que sean innovadoras, el significado de sus canciones, que tengan conceptos no tan vistos. Si bien quisiera que él también hablara de ellas como lo hace con otros grupos, es su canal y son sus gustos y en ningún momento está tirandole a Idle así que si no te gusta no tienes que verlo xd

Maybe you're confused when soyeon said "friggin my name". The character yeon in her name means "pretty/beautiful"" so it's like she's saying "Damn, I don't feel as pretty as what my name suggests". So many things get out of context when translated to english but makes sense in korean.
