Hi Soph quick suggestion for you try the Alpecin dandruff killer shampoo, sounds weird but it did wonders for my scalp eczema! I had really bad patches that would literally bleed and feel so uncomfortable and it's the only thing that has helped me! Make sure to get the one labeled dandruff killer, in a white bottle, the shampoo itself is a bright blue. All the other shampoos from the same brand aren't as effective!

I suffer so bad with eczema in my scalp too! I found the Nizoral shampoo works wonders, its £5 for a tiny bottle so I mix it with another anti-dandruff shampoo but I’ve not had any major issues since using that!

I was also a little underwhelmed by the palette's color story, but I love the eye look that you ended up creating! From the collection, I ended up only getting the Oogie Boogie lipstick and the Jelly Much Shadow in Barrel, which I do wear on my eyes to work sometimes 😂

For the QUESTION OF THE DAY: put a soothing eye cream that can be used on the eyelid, I’m using a Korean eye cream that I can’t pronounce & I’d maybe add a little of petroleum jelly on your lids. The eye cream is spelled in Korean so I can’t tell you the name, but it’s made with synthetic urea(not urine) & made in Japan instead of Korea. The tube is white with pink& gray writing. FYI: most eye creams for wrinkles, etc. can’t be used on the actual eyelid just on the lower eye skin & outside towards hairline(I’m talking about like Lancome, Estée Lauder, Clinique & others. The steroid she’s talking about may help with the scaling so you can add a gentle moisturizer like the Korean Eye Cream(order off Amazon). Until that arrives, I’d sparingly use petroleum jelly. I realize it will feel like oil on your skin at first, but use sparingly & don’t use the cetaphil because it’s gonna burn your eyelids if they are covered with flaky skin. Once you get the condition under control, you’re gonna have to figure out which product causes the problem. Use a gentle eye makeup remover & don’t wear a lot of reds & purples & dark colors because they will irritate your eyes & you’ll have to start all over. Also, don’t continually or roughly rub your eye makeup off with wipes or cloths which means wearing tubular mascara & no waterproof formulas for awhile. Good luck & I just hope you see my post. I really don’t envy you your problem, but I’ve dealt with the same before.

When I first saw this collection announced (before the full on reveal) I seriously thought of you and how much you love Nightmare Before Christmas. After it was revealed I agree with you…I felt a bit underwhelmed by the color story. I was wondering what you would think when you got it and was happy when I saw the video notification!!! 😃 The collection isn’t bad but the palette definitely could’ve used a Oogie Boogie green, pale blue for Sally, orange for Halloween and a true red for Christmas. The pinks confused me and don’t really make me think of the Nightmare Before Christmas. 😕

Nice to see you review this collection Soph, as I know you love the film. If the glitter coming off of the pallette packaging bugs you, spraying it with hairspray should stop it. I did it with the Tinkerbell one and now the glitter stays on even if I rub it.

Use a piece of tape to remove glitter from your eyelid before washing your face...so much easier and very effective! Use tweezers to put gems on.

I use rosehip oil and rub it into my scalp. Throw on a clean cotton beanie and sleep in it, my skin healed really well from doing that a couple nights in a row. Gotta shower in the morning though you'll look super greasy!

Hi soph! I love your videos and you have said in the past to comment any video ideas and I just had a couple so I figured I would do that. (they may have been done before, I haven't seen it but I don't know) 1) Full face of one color, where you use either only products with green in it or pink or blue. Let's say if it was green, then the primer for example would have to have some green ingredients like green tea or aloe etc, have green packaging or just be a straight up green primer, one of those three, and so would the blush, eyeshadow, just all of the products. Idk I just think that would be fun to see! 2) Full face using only your bare hands and a makeup sponge. Its just straight up that, it would be fun to see how well you would do and how much of an impact brushes really have on makeup. Anyways those are just my silly little ideas, and I'm so excited for your next video no matter what it is ❤❤❤

Hi! Loved the video! Just some advice from a med student: please don't scratch your eczema, i know it's tempting but by doing so you are likely to cause what we call a "scratch injury"... Since that area is already very dry and patchy, it is more prone to tearing and to making small wounds, which will only get worse with continuous scratching. The best thing to do is to treat that patch with your usual treatments and keep the area hydrated.I hope this is helpfull!

your eye look is soooo pretty😍 regarding the glitter scratching your eyelids of when taking it off: Christen Dominique (fellow youtuber and founder of dominique cosmetics) once showed this hack where you take some sticky tape or scotch tape and put it on your lids when you wanna take off the glitter and peel it off and then repeat as needed! I tried it! it works sooo well! the sticky tape doesnt stick too much so it doesnt hurt or irritate the eyes but it takes off almost all the big glitter chunks and then you can easily remove the rest pain free! I swear it was a game changer for me for taking off glitters (tried it with the tati glitters)

I wish they did a frosted white with neon green and gold chrome in the highlight for Oogie boogie!!!! I thought the same thing about the color scheme. I definitely questioned why they chose those colors for it. I was going to get the palette for my daughter for her birthday but thought about it and realized these are colors she will never use. I’ve noticed that a lot of the colourpop shadows have been really flaky with a lot of fall out in the pan and even on my face. Especially with the “Gather Round Sisters” palette. But the color pay off is pretty good. Your eyes look gorgeous, loved this review

I had a similar eczema dry patch on my eye lid for like 2 months. Finally, I went to a dermatologist and she said to use Hydrocortisone cream day and night until it is gone. Hydrocortisone is a steroid cream. She also told me not to use it more than 2 weeks because it will become less affective the more you use it. Other than that I did stop putting on makeup and using things that could exasperate the problem.
