I must say Shahid is a fighter. He never gave up. He survived wave of new kids on the block like Ranbir, Imran, Ranveer, Siddtharth, Varun but in wake of media hype, Shahid was still able to carve his own niche & maintain his individual standing in Hindi cinema. The conclusion of this movie is basically... I looked at you😍, you looked at me😊 aur ho gayi mushkil😅. Like seriously while watching the original jersey I was thinking had they just sl3pt that night or at least used protection, that stμpid nagging kid wouldn't have been born, he wouldn't have asked for a stμpid gift and his father would've been alive today😁 But on a serious note... watch the remake or not, but please do watch the original. One of the best movie I've ever seen💞

Please remember all remakes will not get hit . It is very difficult to make remake because hero has to reach acting levels of original. If see 90 percent of remakes in hindi get flop because they can't do justice to that role. Shahid Is jem actor huge talent now after jersey bollywood will recognise him and comes with good script and good budgets

Sahid has proven himself long ago, doesn't need any ' Jersey ' to get him recognition. yes he was fading but Haider and Udta Punjab brought back him on track. He was, is and will remain the underdog and will be ignored by Bollywood cz he doesn't belong to ' THE LOBBY ', everyone says family nepotism is the problem for Bollywood but they are very much wrong. Lobbying nepotism is the problem, that's why starkids like junior B, Sahid, Vivek Oberoi always remained as underdog even after being so talented.

(very very important, read full comment) Hindi film industry should be saved from Punjabi nepotim (producers, directors, actors) as quick as possible, they are using Hindi films to promote Punjabi songs, language, culture, people, characters. These people suppress hardworking talent especially from hindi region, nawaz, manoj, pankaj, ssr, etc Last time talent from hindi region like director writer actors came together we got Gangs of Wasseypur. This movie is also showing main character as punjabi and set in punjab region with punjabi songs in hindi films, why dont they release there stories in punjabi movies. This trend mainly kick started in last decade, and there are so many example in just recent times, chandigarh kare aashique, antim, and even Tabbar, a "hindi-punjabi show" whats the need for that? even if the movie will be about Uttar pradesh characters they put punjabi songs like water like in Bachhan Pandey.

Once again Bollywood Hypocrisy exposed, in the scene When Pankaj & Shahid kapoor went to Mrunal's home then Her father refused their marriage because of other community. In original (Jersey 2019) scene Her father(who is Christian) told her he will allow/accept their marriage if & only if he convert in Christian from Hindu, then Heroine refused &said, "no, he will not convert" Why this scene has changed while all the movie is same copy. Christian Conversion is the biggest issue in Tribal/illiterate areas of India today. Akhir us scene ko badal k kya sabit karna chahte the?
