I agree that kabir slapping preeti was completely wrong. But In Starting when preeti slapped Kabir then why it is considered as a form of love and cute??? In many movies when women slaps men then why it is considered as cute and love but opposite is abuse?? Example - ending scene of 3 idiots, thor 2 mid scene. Violence against both genders is wrong and both should be criticised.

Even that Preeti slapping Kabir was wrong... Bollywood has really messed up ideas of cuteness n fun banter. Men stalking women is cute... Men getting slapped is funny.. In Badrinath ki dulhaniya , a scene where Varun's character gets molested is presented as a comedic scene. Laxmi was projected to destigmatize transgenders but couldn't get it right. The fact that Kabir Singh' mentality resonated with majority audience, including women, proves how regressive our societal conditioning is .And the fact that these things get celebrated by audience just proves that we still follow Bollywood blindly and seriously lack awareness.
