I think it's great that there are more and more new purse companies, but since many of them are online only, it makes shopping difficult. Hopefully this will help you decide whether or not to buy the Numero Un bag for yourself.

Thanks for your honest opinions on this bag. I've bought Numero Un Nano and Numero Sept Mini, both in smooth leather and I absolutely adore them. Was thinking to purchase something bigger like Numero Un but changed my mind thanks to your review (I'm petite as well). I'm looking forward to see more of your reviews.

I love your review! Subscribed! Would love to see reviews on other bags you own, I find your review very relatable as I’m also someone with a full time office job, I feel like some bloggers just take pictures with the bag without actually carrying it to work on a daily basis so they’re less aware of the functionality / weight of the bag.

This really helped me to settle on color - I actually wanted a more of a greige color so I chose the gray. I agree that images on the website (especially the ones that are not model photos) does not do a good job of showing color.

Just happened to see your review pop up on the Polene Numero Un handbag so I was curious & watched because another Utuber I follow has this bag and seems to love it. I happen to agree with all of your "dislikes " about this handbag as I am a big critic about the " design practicality " of any handbag. OMG I just sold brand new Un Nano in Taupe. Funny because I think my Taupe is too grey IRL! Only looked taupe/grey on cam. That flap getting in the way is a prob, yes, but what bothered me the most was that my strap squeaked against the D ring. Really want to buy a polene bag but they don’t have any other top handle with strap (my ideal bag). Would you say the Un is on yhe heavier side?

Love your review. I am trying to decide which sept 7 color to buy. I have to believe my fingernails, although not long, would scratch the smooth leather. I am glad to hear you review the grain leather. Do you have any smooth leather ones?

Thank you Julia! I avoid buying smooth leather purses for the same concerns that you have. I’m super rough with my bags so I try to get something more durable. So unfortunately, I don’t have any real hand experience with smooth leather bags!

I am not a bad defender for any stretch of imagination however, this is not a bag pack for books. It is a structure bag and perhaps for a person who is not very tall it is way too bulky. I think you would love a smaller version on your self. If your cons are color? hmmm perhaps it was a good idea to return it or exchange. Thank you for your review though.

Completely agree. Someone else also commented on getting the smaller size and I think it would’ve worked better but I bought this bag way before it even had any other sizes and it was too pretty to exchange so I just kept it and admire from afar now.
