I wonder why Vu trade futures, a highly leveraged instrument, for newbies, but not stocks or options?

Futures is not the place to be unless you have the ability to have a trading system with an edge, follow it precisely, and take the emotion out as much as is humanly possible. For most, this means a mostly mechanical system and not discretionary. You are wise to recognize and stop the bleeding. I view trading as a game of probability and statistics and I trade it as such. When I go discretionary, the wheels fall off the train so I stay 95% mechanical and looking at trades in sample sizes of 25. Important not to view results after a small sample size as to whether your strategy is effective. Only after several sets of 25 trades can you tell if your system is generating an equity curve that goes from the lower left to the upper right...

I am a disciplined Blackjack player. I KNOW the correct play for every situation. NO MATTER WHAT! I never deviate from mathematical certainties (over time) in order to have the best chance statistically speaking. It is REALLY hard to carry on in faith when the pile is going DOWN. I hear you there. 🎯♠🤑 Does that equal discipline in day trading (uncertain)
