CollectFest is also coming out next year and we will be attending, I believe Sydney and Brisbane are also hosting it.

What you spoke about was my exact same feelings towards the last hobby hangout I attended. Don’t get me wrong there are still absolute legends there that I will pay the show prices to help support as I understand the costs to setup and hold stock and so on.

Yeah I had been excited about it for months but in the ways mentioned it was very disappointing

Sucks to hear people weren't willing to trade with you. To be honest, the first few times I set up as a dealer, I always said no because I kind of struggled to work on the fly. Nowadays, I'm always open to it especially as it normally favours the dealer and you can get part cash which helps.

Yea it was a strange one as one dealer had two of the same card. I offered a 1/3 cash plus double trade value for the remaining without asking for a discount and he wasn't having a bar of it. It worked out anyway as I got the same card in the US for pretty much the cash value I offered the dealer. Always on the look out of nice Giddey and Steven Adams rcs if you come by any mate just hit me up

But don't get me wrong. People can choose not to trade if they don't want to I just saw it as a common trend at the show which was surprising

So, the moral of the story, I should keep doing what you do and keep buy from the US. Although, just being at these events is fun, even if I am not willing to pay the prices people are asking here in Australia.

Yes I feel the same unless it's a card I absolutely need for the pc and I can't find it anywhere else. I want to support local wherever I can but only if it makes sense
