Pretty cool! I predict a Tom Horsman mod is a motor on the pizza stone turner.

Saw this on Amazon and thought about it for about 3 seconds. Since I'm the only one that eats pizza around here and I already have 3 pizza cookers I had to give this a no. I foresee a diy motor attachment mod to this. As with these top locations of heat source the crust doesn't seem to get quite as brown as ones with bottom heat source. Pizza looks good thought Tom. Thanks.
@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Mike! You are correct, top heat source and a thinner type pizza stone doesn’t hold the heat when covered up be the pizza

Oooh man, I really like being able to turn that pizza stone. Is there any vent settings on that to control temps Tom? That pizza looked delicious! Thanks for sharing Tom.

There's a battery power motor that goes under to rotate pizza. You don't need to hand turn that stone. Please check your owners manual and missing part in your box

Thanks for Watching! Lol, not on this model, the new model does

It’ll be cool if they came out with different attachments that connect to the “stove” part.
@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I believe they have a propane burner attachment
@HaotheEnd2 жыл бұрын
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ now what if they had an attachment that turned it into an “offset” type portable smoker
@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ2 жыл бұрын
That would be interesting…
@HaotheEnd2 жыл бұрын
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ well, technically, you can remove the stone, block off some airflow, place a rock or brick over that exhaust/smoke stack, and add pellets whenever the temp drops. That chamber is double walled. Could be cool for something quick. Maybe use a smoke tube
@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Not sure how that would work since the chimney is the draw to the system. Blocking it off would disrupt air flow
@tim_bbq10082 жыл бұрын
Sounds like the key is thin crust and 700+ stone temp

If you are using a dough with no sugar, it will not brown well.

For 1 pizza it is alot of work. Making multiple pizzas back to back in 90 seconds. You can feed a family/party quick. Worth it if youre cooking 3 or more
