Thank you for this, I was entertaining getting them for hand lettering and you've saved me from buying another pen I won't like, lol!

I'm a beginner letterer (know the basics, but my letters don't always come out the best just yet), and got these for Christmas (from my wishlist) but have been struggling to write nice letters with it. They fray easily, which was a disappointment and I wouldn't say that they are beginner pens, they can be quite tricky to use because of the high flexilbility and the turning points. Maybe I'll use them for colouring, but not for calligraphy. This video just made me sure that I'm not the one using them incorrectly

Just a FYI, they also have a 6 pack of these pen! Love the video btw! Edit: I almost forgot, if you get the PN of the Sakura Pigma which I’m pretty stands for Plastic Nib, you can actually do some hand lettering with it! It depends on how much pressure you put on the pen!

Thank you. I use these pens for sketching. I tried to handletter with them.... it doesn't work... not in the way you say it... I think I am very light handed, I cant have a thin line... they are shaky. Now I see that you have to have a thick up stroke I am relieved. I should put more weight to it... instead of trying to fight the upstrokes with the very point of the pen, I can do it more relaxed.. so thank you again. It's not me but the pen. And they are separate available. There is also a sepia available... thx for the review... looking forward for the next video... greetings from Belgium...

Thank you so much for these videos! I think I will look into the Pentel brush flexible tip instead. Am I correct in thinking those are your favorite small brush pens? I really don’t think anything I make will still be around for my great great grandkids anyway. Lol.

Hahaha! Yes, those are definitely my favorites - highly, highly recommend! Thanks so much for watching, Laura! xo

I have a black one from these, it came with a pack of microns. This was my second-worst pen (number one are the TOUCH Brushpens).
