About the economy: They should do 2 things about it 1. Rework the whole trading plaza, and get rid of booths, and make it so u can only trade and not sell stuff, also gems shouldnt be tradeable and make something like AA did with the trading 2. To Fix the trading inflation, make trading impossible to overpay, have a fixed value of a unit/items and if one overpays it wouldn't go through, it must be a 10-20% value difference.

A suggestion in regards to story/progressive mode taking years to complete: Add a way to "skip" all the chapters. As you said, the rewards aren't worth the mindless, monotonous grind. I can provide two ways to add a "skip" feature: No.1) Just give the players the opportunity to immediately challenge chapter 6: - They won't get the first clear rewards of previous stages, but it WILL let them get the other maps faster. No.2) (Inspired from AWTD) Make a 7th stage that allows you to skip all stages: - This stage is SIGNIFICANTLY harder to clear than all of the map's stages combined, meaning you either buff up and get some units, or you form a team with people, then strategize, to make the "skip stage" easier. - This stage's first clear rewards are all of stages NORMAL (not each stages first clear) rewards combined. - In this way, those who wish to take on a challenge, whilst wanting to skip, can try this stage out. - This can also separate the newbies who MUST grind each stage, and the more dedicated (or whales) who've spent more time grinding for good units that can reliably clear all story content anyway.

Devs should include an auction market in the trading. It’s like what 2k did for my team on 2k23, they allowed players to place what they wanted to sell on the market for a limited time and other players looking for these pieces or units would see what prices they liked best and purchased it.

problem with that is people who grind the game 24/7 will get the rewards first and this was what had happend during anime adventures in which to they made it to where half the bp was locked but this games doesnt so it isnt really the best to do for your average player

23:41 I personally think, we should get some inspiration from AWTD (Anime World Tower Defense). How they went about it, is that each stage has a Normal, Insane, and Nightmare mode (we will be ignoring Challenger). Normal - 1x rewards Insane - 3x rewards, but harder Nightmare - 5x rewards, but wayyy harder. The grind becomes faster, the stronger you are/the more you strategize, and vice versa.

Also another thing with the bring only 3 units (basically 2 units) is that the new story modes give your units so much XP. It means you miss out on leveling up multiple other units while trying to grind for the new stuff. And you cant do both the same time or it might be too difficult if you switch up your units

I think there are plenty of ways to make units easier to obtain without adding pitty or maybe not even changing the grind, for example u could make gems more useful by allowing the player to pay a certain amount to increase the chance of that unit dropping or set quests that give u an item to do the same. I dont play the game so I dont fully understand the depth of the issue but I think just hearing about it there could probably be more community communication on how to go about adding some things or fixing existing things, u dont have to do what ur community says but as a developer or content creator of any kind it really doesn't really hurt to listen to some constructive feedback

I have to agree with the comments you read Pery. The problem I have with this game, and what more anime tower defense games are doing, is releasing secret units or higher tier units at an unhealthy rate, at a faster rate than AA did near the game's beginning. I wished having a secret units was something you would not expect to get and did not need this early into the game's life cycle. I also agree with the idea that u can't just use gems to trade units. Moving on, mythics should be the main units on your team (They are obtainable!). Secret/limited units should be much more rare, (I say they should only be releasing at most 1 secret every couple of updates), and not 5 secret units in one update. I did not like the trading system when it released, I believe it should be more like AA or ALS. If there are limited units and start off as mythical units, the banner should just have had limited units in the same banner as the mythics, just rotating in every couple of banners. Secrets in this update should have been grinded using these story maps tbh. There is so much I want to say that I can't put in without beginning to not make any sense.

secret unit odds are around 0.01 which would mean 500k gems without any potions, this means for a f2p player you would need at least 400k tokens (if you have mini luck pots) to have a good chance to get the new secrets. In the standard banner in world 1, it’s now easier to roll for a secret in the standard banner then to trade for one

Id say the limiting of teams makes sense to a certain degree take btd6 for example you need to have strategy and you're teams can be limited depending on the content you are doing the only issue is anime defenders cant function like btd6 because it is so much harder to get units

The only tip I can give to this game is become more like awtd where even rare units there are still useful in some team comp. There just too much reliability on secret for the endgame and just make the whole banner look like you their get that 0.something% or you get the 99.9% that ether trash or get replaced easily each update Or on in Anime Adventure terms, imagine having to roll for 2 or 3 LeLouch (1 for ground, 1 for hybrid/air and maybe 1 for utilities) before you can enjoy playing casually. And who know how long those 3 can carry you till you need to get more LeLouch

Def have to say. A really bad thing about this update is that unless you have thousands of trait crystals and spirits saved up you're in a really awkward situation. You either choose to grind new units or grind materials for those units, There is no way to make progress towards getting the units and farming rrs or spirits at the same time. Also if there really is a pity there was no way to have it hidden

I definitely agree your opinions, but couldn't they just add a minimum and maximum value for items or units? This would prevent people from inflating the value of items, like RRS. It used to be 400, and it had a limit, yet people are still finding ways to overprice it. For example, by using the magic mirror method, they can overprice RRS by selling the magic mirror at an inflated price and then trading the RRS afterward. Since magic mirrors don't have a maximum price, this inflates the value and makes it easier for scammers to take advantage of people.

The only reasons gems are easy to get is because of trading. 1 story = 30 gems = 0.6 summons per story 1 athenyx story = 15 tokens = 1.5 summons per story same rates go for doing gem/token challanges, buying them, etc. they brought the game back to the time where getting a mythic was actually worthwhile and we complain? TLDR: - update was good, has better rates - secrets shouldn't be the norm - trading continues being its problem (not update 5s fault)

Im a mobile player ... I started from release and did 1 week just to get my first mythic, then i quitted cause of the grind and two months later i decided to do the trading thing until it was IMPOSSIBLE to get an UNEVO secret cause of prices . Now i cant progress the game . 😔

Alr after 2 days. Some of these challenges are so annoying. Like the only 1 unit challenges you can't solo, you need someone else to deal with hybrid or burrow mobs, sjw will get overwhelmed by air mobs. And the other one is no trait or spirits on abyssal gate on a boss that has 550k hp literally you can't solo and it impossible without almighty. Tried with 3, boss had 1.5 million hp and we had gojo, sjw, chance king, ice dragon, jadefire, cursed berserker and we still failed and it wasn't even close

in my personal opinion ad had a great start but has yet to drop a GOOD upd. upd 1 gave use content which was not bad but raids were long and the banner was the start of alt defenders. upd 2 was THE SAME FING THING. upd 3 basic added nothing upd 4 was a fix to upd 3 but the gave use portals witch are boring really boring and upd 5 only thing to do is story and then afk for the units.

I like that you praise the visuals, people really put effort behind it, but a well polished turd is still a turd, that effort that's placed on visuals isn't matched anywhere else it seems, it's a big shame because I would love to play this over ALS or a new TD but this game just isn't fun to play or good to grind at, if the gameplay has no effort put into it and the visuals a lot of effort, then imagine the effort a f2p player puts in to compensate for the lack of care of the devs, and it is a lack of care because they want to fix something after they already left it broken, they have to play their own game to see how awful it is so they care, it's like the DBD Flashlight situation, players complained and complained, only when a dev played that the issue was solved, only when they cared enough to try what they made instead issues stop existing. It's a shame but this update, ignoring visuals, isn't mid, is it? It's a whole bunch of nothing, it's just slop to hold us over until the next cash cow they think of, sadly, at this rate, Anime Defenders is not living long.

As the upd is out for longer youtubers and even p2w players are gonna realise how monotonous the new realm is only way to get secrets which as mentioned are the only things worth getting to progress mythics are a joke srsly gems are also becoming as useless as gold now AA did everything so much better the portals were hard and grindy but even new players could do them with just a mythic unevo which only took a new player like 4-7days to get or even faster cuz of codes and how much they helped in progress for new players and evolving mythics was tough as it required material from different worlds but had no time limit expect for stars which were still easy to get just by getting two evo mythics was enough to solo most of the game content expect raids or other mutltiplayer modes honestly i felt AA was much more balanced in terms of casual p2w and f2p i rlly enjoyed it i didnt macro or used alts in it even once but in AD its just required to macro and use alts to make any progress i am gonna take a break from this until they fix the game a little or just quit if they dont do anything and just Also personal experience i spent 300rbx on vip but i didnt get my trade hub benefits or increase trade sales or purchase limits i did try to use their discord channel which helps resolve bugs but it had reached its ticket limits has been since it was introduced ☠️
