I'm also an ESL teacher sa isang Korean company and one of my Korean students applied in Engoo. They offered her around 250 pesos (4.4 usd) for a 25-minute class. I told her na 130 pesos lang offer sa Filipino teachers and she was shocked sa baba ng offer. Anyway, very informative video and ang clear ng presentation nyo teach. 😊

Tae talaga ang pasahod ng mga ESL companies dito sa Pinas. Na-reveal sakin ng dati kong student yung bayad nila sa services na ganito. Grabe sobrang liit ng bigay sa tutors.

It's true. 65 php per 25 min lesson and they think it's reasonable wage for standard of living, only 5 php increase last year. This lady may give engoo's positive aspects but dmm will be your real boss. Don't take only Filipino tutors' takes on this at face value because they're used to it. There are rude, weird students especially japanese.

I just applied sa Engoo, and I think they are very particular sa English proficiency. I got declined due to minor pronunciation errors and some grammar mistakes, and phrasing. I think you need to use formal English since I used conversational English na more informal.

Hello po! I think mas ok po naging inactive kesa magresign sa Engoo. Magiging inactive po status mo kapag di ka nakapagturo sa loob ng 90 days. If gusto na magturo ulit, need lang sila iemail n gusto mo mgpareactivate.

25 mins po ang isanf class. You can open any no. of classes po depende sa availability kaya perfect sya na side hustle.

Hello! For me po Engoo ang best in terms of flexibility na no minimum hours required. You may also try Bitu and Palfish po. :)

Highly exploitive company with no room for improvement or incentives. They won't pay you if lesson notes are unsubmitted for any reason even after lesson was fully done. Japs while mostly polite can be extremely rude freaks looking to vent out at an unlucky tutor. It's low-paying & they thought the P5 peso rate increase was a big bonus.@@Gryu_MC
