Thank you for raising the Neet PG issue The thing is the exam was conducted in SEPTEMBER 2021 But the counseling hasn't been started yet and due to that new doctors are not able to join hospitals The reason for delay is govt changed reservation policy after the exam was conducted so PIL has been lodged and there has been no verdict on it yet.

Central Government wanted 6 weeks time to present their arguments and explain their rationale on the EWS quota. Supreme Court cannot give verdict from the air.

Why did the government without thinking for a second implement such a rule which has no ground at all and falls flat in Supreme Court and that too in middle of the year just before the exam. At such a sensitive time where India needs as much man power as possible. I hope you never have to go through the hardships that a government resident doctor faces after studying so hard and getting highest ranks.

Thanks for talking about the NEET PG issue. The exam was conducted in September 2021, but the counselling hasn’t started yet. So in medical college hospitals only two batches of residents are handling the patients. One of the batches has their final exam soon so possibly only one batch will remain. The residents are protesting because they have been working since March 2020 and now they need the help of a new batch of residents. But the counselling is being delayed due to a Supreme court case.
