Looking for modular tools storage me too! Let's unbox and review Toughbuilt StackTECH. After researching a few brands I decided to pick the newest and coolest looking one StackTECH does not disappoint! Here is an honest tool review and reaction video to ToughBuilt's new product.
With there future expanse and general interest in making this product better. I think we are in the beginning of a storage power house!
This is a short term unboxing review of Toughbuilt StackTECH modular storage. We have looked at other brands over the years but the cool factor of these pushed us over the edge. They look good enough to on the set of sci-fi movie. But these are no movie prop they have passed the test and I believe are pushing the standard of modular storage in the market place.

Theyre coming out with a bottom rolling box that has a drawer instead of a lid. To me that automatically makes this the best. The ability to have all your bottom ones open from the front instead of the top means you can minimize the game of musical boxes you need to play in order to get the bottom stuff out. I really like the idea of your tools just following you around while they stay stacked up. Im honestly most curious about their powered accessories, how they will work, if toughbuilt will have battery packs ect? Are we looking at the start of a toughbuilt powertool brand, and its just their boxes came first? 2025 is going to be a very interesting year for toolboxes as stacktech rolls out and fills their lineup. What kind of new products and refreshes will we see from packout? Will other brands step up their game, like dewalt, ridged, flex, and klein. Will we see advancements from the entry brands like ryobi, kobalt, husky and craftsman?

Neat trick, the extension cord holders will hold your folding ladders too. Fold them vertically and they’ll hook into the small rails securely!

You gotta check out the wood work top. It is extremely versatile! People are mounting miter saws, vises, Kreg jigs, all kinds of cool shit! Even saw 3D printed packout cleats so people can use both systems. Its been awesome to see!

I think this piece alone will make this set way more versatile. Also the yellow 2 piece shelf system will clip on the bottom. more potential mods with that.

Ok, I had to comment. I play SC and love my Tough built set. I do not have the cooler, but own everything else you've shown in multiples. I think it's the best storage system even if t's options don't rival Milwaukee yet.

I love mine but the only complaint is the moisture buildup inside them because I’m in Southern Louisiana

I put the moisture bags like you keep in gun safes and those seem to be helping

If the metal slotted end trim gets damaged or twisted, can they be unscrewed and replaced?

The metal corners on all boxes can be removed and replaced by simply unscrewing. I haven't seen a webpage to order them but it was a manufacture note you can replace the if damaged probably by calling them directly. Thanks for the comment I'll add that info to the update video!

You’re right about the stacking feature, but the thing the other boxes have that the stack pack doesn’t is, you can access the other boxes without having to unstack them. I.e. you can open the box in the middle without unstacking the boxes on top. I was really interested in these, but that for me was kind of the dealbreaker.

Yes that's true I'll be doing a follow up review on everything I learn. And a-b with Milwaukee. Good point though can be a deal breaker for people.

Not sure why people keep saying this. It can be done, it's just not as smooth as Packout. It's just a different hand memory and maybe an extra step or two. Also with how many drawer options there are now and coming with ST, why would you buy boxes anymore. Just have an entire drawer stack lol.

@@steffendetrick lol you can. Detach the above box and tip back an inch > Unlock the box you want to access > drop box back down to relatch to lid> tip back stack to access the box. Don't believe all these Red Ryobi fan boi's saying you can't. Go to Lowes and find out for yourself.

It will. Ive had these boxes for months, you unlock the box above it, then unlatch the box and the box can open. Parroting doesnt get you far when there are people who actually know what's going on

Husky Connect 22 is better to carry up down. They also are easier to work out of while stacked with the drawer and canteliver units. The build could be a but better. When your in and out of multi-unit buildings for work , portability counts. These are BULKY...,

These are bulky but I think in a good way. I'm working on a follow up / comparison video. One big problem so far is getting the tough built product I still don't have everything I ordered.

Not upright the interior is only 10 inches height. You could lay them down 7.5 inches wide and 13 inches deep.

@carlsonandco awesome. I've been meaning to get a good enough cooler to help insulate caulkes, glues, wood filler, and even blue tape. This is a small, compact solution. There is nothing worse than barley using a tube of some only to find it frozen and bad the next t time you pull it out.
