Still Not Sponsored so I’ve been trying new skate shoes till I find something good!
This year I skated a few different brands from Nike SB, Etnies, Cons, Ipath, and DC. Still searching for the best shoe!

Yoo! I stand by the eś accel OGs they definitely wont feel like the Sal23s there super comfy and are long lasting the only down side i would say are the laces i think soltech as a groop need to up there lace game! Happy new year bro and love watching the vids! keep killing it!

Dc lynx og has a deceptive nature. Puffy but it is light and lasts longer than the dunks

I had a recommendation for converse. I don’t usually skate converse but I had bought a pair of Alexis Sablones pro model. They have the elastic band and have a solid insole that gives you great board feel. I would definitely recommend those over regular one stars. I also love your videos and hope you have a blessed year!

Elastic tongue is a must. I skate the Jamie Foys but the nb 440 highs are my favorite.

I wore DC's for the past decade but they got more and more narrow. I bought 2 pairs online in September and loved the way they looked but they were so painful and tight on my feet I had to return them and sadly just get one pair. I tried Vans for the first time ever and love them! Got the new school and they fit and feel great! Wear them to work and skate in the them. Looks like I'll be wearing Vans for the next decade haha

In the Es line I really like the modern take on the Quattro. Grip is incredible.

The Etnies with the Michelin sole...Joslin's or Maranas are my favorite. I'd like to try those I-Path ...they look good.

For some reason whenever i got Vans , either half cabs or the normal sk8 ones , I would always tear a hole through the bottom of the soles so quickly, before I could even scratch the top of the shoes. So i just switched to Nike SB , but mostly shoes which suit a wider foot. I recently got my first ever sb dunks , and so far I'm very pleased .

i’ve skated 2 pairs of accels and they are like pillows around your feet and i feel so swaggy wearing them, but certain tricks aren’t as consistent for me with the accels when i skate half cabs they treat me so good. i don’t really have to think about my tricks and my consistency is there, plus they’re decently comfy

The eS version of the Sal 23's had the tongue straps. Lately I been skating eS Accel OG's because I like Etnies' bulkier cup sole shoes but cannot stand the lack of tongue straps. All eS shoes seem to have tongue straps and skate amazing.

Grew up skating DC a lot. Used to love a runner toe. Skates so many shoes In the past with that toe type. Good for flip tricks. Currently I’m skating Vans Classic skate shoe. I was skating Emerica slip ons for like the last 3 years Back in the day DVS the Daewons 3s I think 🤔 were so amazing had a runner toe. The ES Koston 2s had a runner toe also.

@ I dare you to skate the Newest version on the Nike Nyjahs I have the older pair but not the newest ones. They have a lot of tech in them. I’d like to see how u adapt to them. The Nike vertebrae models have a runner toe. That’s interesting 🤨

@ i actually have tested a few sample pairs of nyjahs shoes and I’ve always been surprised how good they skate. Just not a fan of how they look. I also tested vertebrae’s for a year before they came out and really like them actually. They just rip kinda fast

I always go for the Busenitz Vulc 2. Very comfortable & durable (for a Vulc Shoe), and simple design. Perfect for everyday life & skating.

I love skating slip ons for board feel. So janoski is probably the best for myself. Emerica marc Johnson's was probably on of the thicker shoes i skated growing up.

Best shoe i skated this year is the asics Japan Pro. I have a wide foot, and the shoe is like a wider dunk. Say an af1 toe box on a dunk. The sole is really grippy, also pebbles do not get stuck on the sole. The flick is great, and there's no heel slip.

i used a pair of force 58's, a homie gave me them used and they lasted 3 months till i put a hole on the sole. But the laces rip super easly, probably used 8 diferent shoe laces on those, but overall great shoe!

Es Accel OG will fit and feel differently than the Sal 23 - tongue straps, padding, actual midsole, and a different sole. I recommend trying them!! Also, you should consider these: Etnies Marana & Joslin (go 0.5 up), MC Rap Lo/High (go 0.5 up) & swap in a preferred insole Asics Japan Pro (like a Nike Dunk) Nike Ishod Air Max Maybe even consider some of DVS shoes, as they're revamping their skate division

My favourites are the Etnies Joslins, cup sole but good board feel, michelin sole so last for ages, elastic puffy tongue and a great insole

You should try the Maranas they sadly don't have elastics on the tongue but last a lot and are really comfy also stupid durable

I've been skating a pair of HUF X Peanuts Spike DIRT DON’T HURT Black Classic Hi Top Skate Shoes. Last night though I picked up a pair of red and orange half cabs for forty dollars. I like shoes with ankle support and a good insole. The elastic toungue is cool and I agree with you but it's not a deal breaker for me.

i think u might like the és accel thoe its all puffy, giant tongue with strap, the cup sole gives a lot of stability and impact protection and they also have a lot of grip the only negative aspect is the laces, they ripped a lot, then i glued a wide piece of leather covering the eyelets, whitch ended up working idk what happened to the sole of the Sal23 but that to me looks like some sort of defect overall i would like see a review from you of the accel

The es accel og is not gonna hurt your foot and it has an elastic tongue too so prolly try them out

Best 2 shoes for me in 2024 were the air max Ishod and the 440 v2 from new balance. Both good for wide feet imo

These were my two favorites, too! You might find the force 58s pretty good, too. Not as good as ishods v2 or 440 v2, but a good mid-range option

I like the 3 to the left - etnies, converse, dc. I’ve never cared for nike, plus the hype and sneakerhead culture is kind of off putting. One stars are sick, but I’ve never actually had them. Idk how they’d skate but are nice for a casual shoe. Chucks are the least comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.

The Accel OGs are more comfortable than the Sal 23s no contest. The Sals would be so much better if the insole that came with it wasn't absolute trash.

I used to care about elastic tongues but don't really freak if the shoes doesn't now most of the ones that don't really don't need them but that sal 23 definitely looks like it could help from one with how fat it is xD

The as1 converse shoe is really nice shoe with good grip and board feel. It has a similar silhouette to the dunks and Nike owns converse they are pretty reasonable priced too. Those ipaths are fresh!!!
