I totally agree with your opinion of this deck being more of a novelty item, NOT something for dedicated Tarot readers. The artwork is beautiful, but it's inconsistent with traditional meanings of Tarot. Having too many creators involved can definitely jumble up the energies of the deck, making it a confusing mess. I watch your entire review because you take Tarot seriously, so please do NOT lighten up. Your insight is valuable to those who take Tarot seriously as well. I appreciate your HONEST reviews. Appreciate how honest you always are but especially for this review specifically. I agree that too many authors just seems to muddle and bring down the deck and meanings itself. I, like you, also believe that this gothic love trope of a tarot deck is very very inauthentic and just for money. It’s too superficial! I do like the imagery of some cards but that’s where it stops for me.

Pretty much how I would describe every deck from Insight Editions: novelty cash grab with garage guidebooks....that's why I have never purchased any deck published by them. Lol

This is def a different take on this one, the version of this deck I'm familiar with the Major Arcana at least has foiled in lay for the titles which does make it hard to read so something went awry with this edition

Sounds like a potential knock off of an original deck, the only way they can get them printed and past copyright is to misnumber or change detals of the original. Hope it isn't but sounds a bit fishy, some of the artwork is OK, but I probably wouldn't run out to buy it myself. Great review though! Not a fan of the divinations either.
