Stacey, I will just unload this avalanche of words here, I hope it's helpful. Our biggest temptation is to try to fix that thing, that insecurity, that imperfection. That's not my responsibility, that's not on me. I only need to ALLOW Father's love to enter into me, not trying to fix that thing, whatever it is. We don't have a theology issue or ''think positive'' issue. I am loved because I am a child of God. Not because of my fasts, tithing, evangelizing, praying, good works whatever. God loved us before we had our first breath and our love towards Him must be only a response to His love towards us. Sometimes we chase after God's love, we forget it's there by default. It's like trying to get into a room you're already in. I hope this was helpful...
