Pastor, the conversational nature of how you teach and present the Word of God is so soothing to hear. There are times when a shouting preacher is just the thing, but on a consistent basis your demeanor works well for me. Thank you for shining God's light in the way you do.

Somehow that paraphrase of The Lord's Prayer into our current language is so beautiful because it's so sincere and relatable to the point it's tear-jerking

I stopped at the store the other morning to get some groceries. I had just got paid that morning and heard you say, give God the best. I sat in the parking lot of that store and did my tithe before going in to get some food. Thank you for constantly preaching that message.

Although I cannot remember the details of the story, I have a friend, who when he was younger was in Alaska. He decided it would be a good idea to buy a boat and make money fishing. He did not know a lot about boats, but set out and was in some inland waters of the oceans in the middle of nowhere at least a day from civilization, and in the middle of a strait when his engine died. When investigating it, he opened the engine hatch, only to find water three feet deep and getting deeper. He went to try the radio and found all the electrics were dead too. He went back and got in freezing water where the engine was and tried to find where the sea water was coming from. Finally, he was starting to get hypothermic, had no tools, and realized the boat was going to sink and there was no way he would make it shore. Not being a praying kind of guy, he realized it was his only option, so he just spoke out: "Little help, need a little help here.." Not more than 10 minutes later another fishing vessel appeared and he waved them down; his boat sank. Also really glad that Fresh Life YT has the user selectable intermission feature :-)
