Sh**est movie I have ever seen, hated the ending as it was a mess of being deaf going in and out of jail and the usual drive off in the sunset. I know this probably won't be read, but I LOVED this movie. I can't explain why I felt this way. I know that's a fact. I loved this movie with a new passion for cinematography. There was a fresh breath of video editing and story telling because of the sound editing ALONE. I respect your opinion and view of objective. I knew I would love this movie and I did. That being said, I really thought this movie showcased the polish movies can have. It may not be perfect, but it was very impressive for what they were able to pull off. Thanks to anyone who read this, and I hope you felt the same way. If not, that's fair. I still value your objection and listen to different opinions. P.S. It doesn't make someone a "Hipster" to be an Audiophile. I love to analyze soundtracks and albums the same way you decipher movies. Seriously?

Which I find creepy. I guess from a purely scientific point of view it might make a little since. Your mom, or mother figure, is the longest close relationship you have had with a female, thus a woman with close personalty traits to her might make the woman more attractive. Also agree with the love interest lacking depth. Goes along with the trope of two people hooking up at the movie's end simply because they're the main characters.
