Simply put, when you're young, your mind hasn't yet been infected with all of the "this is crap" comments that people throw at you far too often. You don't have an understanding of what makes something such as writing, acting, and directing "good" and what makes it "bad." That said, it's not wrong to turn off your brain and allow yourself to be entertained by a movie, even if you understand that it's "bad." It's all just entertainment, after all. If you look at it this way, then you can still enjoy a movie you liked when you were young while still seeing how bad it is.

I actually came in to post the above comment. The line that Storm says is accompanied by a huge, expensive effect, that they didn't want to cut. The running joke of "do you know what happens to a toad when . . ." and all of that got cut. Also, the line was supposed to be throwaway however Berry delivers the line like she is in a Shakespeare play. Joss Whedon has said quite a bit about this line over the years, and a lot of it comes down to poor editing and poor delivery.

Cry Baby Candy Can Dude, we had the entire script for the Batman & Robin movie, a depressing Superman, Shaq in a leading role, a Green Lantern suit made of disrespect for Ryan Reynolds' workout progress, the first 45 minutes of The Killing Joke movie, the laundry list of problems with Suicide Squad, Superman 4, Supergirl the movie, and a premature use of the Doomsday storyline. Nothing else they've done wrong can compare to the Bat-Credit Card.

I remember I saw this DC film at the IMC Cinema in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, Ireland with my father in summer 2004 and we thought it was amazing but I've heard it's actually rubbish. It's not really good as the other DC films. I'm sure Warner Bros. should be absolutely ashamed of this terrible DC film. It is definitely one of the worst DC and 2000s films of all time. Selina Kyle: (feels shocked) "What the hell is this crap?"
